Glasgow Warriors
Glasgow Warriors are a professional rugby union side from Scotland. The team plays in the United Rugby Championship league and in the European Professional Club Rugby tournaments. In the 2014–15 season they won the Pro12 title and became the first Scottish team to win a major trophy in rugby union's professional era. The side is known for its fast, dynamic and attacking style of play, using offloads and quick rucks. Defensively the club prides itself on its 'Fortress Scotstoun' where the club play at home. Sam Pinder
Sam Pinder (born 15 February 1979 in Taupo, New Zealand), is a Scottish rugby union player formerly of Glasgow Warriors and Scotland. Pinder played at Scrum-Half. The player qualified to represent the Scottish national rugby union team as his grandmother came from Port Seton near Edinburgh. Mark McMillan
Mark McMillan (born 17 May 1983 in Stirling, Scotland) is a former rugby union player who played for Bath Rugby, London Wasps and Leeds Carnegie in the Aviva Premiership, and Glasgow Warriors in the Pro14. During his time at Wasps, he helped them win both the Heineken Cup and the English Premiership, coming off the bench in both finals. At Leeds he also won the 2004–05 Powergen Cup. He was called up to the senior Scotland training squad in October 2008, however he was ultimately not capped at that level. McMillan's position of choice is as at scrum-half. Colin Gregor
Colin Gregor (born 31 May 1981) is a retired Scottish rugby union player. He was the captain of the Scotland 7s team from 2009 to 2014. He is only the eighth player, and first Scot, to score over 1,000 points on the IRB Sevens World Series. He is one of only 13 in all forms of rugby. Gregor retired as the most capped sevens player in Scottish history, playing in 58 IRB Sevens World Series tournaments, three Sevens World Cups (in Hong Kong 2005, Dubai 2009 and Moscow 2013) and two Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, 2006. Richie Vernon
Richie Vernon (born 7 July 1987) is a former Scotland international rugby union player with London Scottish. He previously was with Glasgow Warriors, playing for the Glasgow side over two spells. James Eddie (born 3 June 1985) is a Scottish former professional Rugby union player. He played as a flanker or lock for Glasgow Warriors in the Guinness PRO12. Kelly Brown
Kelly Brown (born 8 June 1982) is a Scottish rugby union coach and former player. He won 64 caps for the Scotland national team, and played club rugby for Glasgow Warriors, Border Reivers and Saracens as a flanker. He retired from playing in 2017 to become a coach with Saracens' academy. Brown moved to an Assistant Coach position at Glasgow Warriors in 2020 before returning to Saracens in 2021. John William Beattie (born 21 November 1985) is a Scottish former rugby union player. A number 8, he played for Glasgow Warriors, Montpellier, Castres and Bayonne. Background Beattie is the son of former Scotland number 8 John Beattie and brother of Scotland women's footballer Jen Beattie. John Barclay (rugby Union)
John Adam Barclay (born 25 September 1986) is a Scottish former rugby union player, who played as a flanker and Number 8. He made 76 international appearances for the Scotland national team 2007–2019. He played at three world cups. He played club rugby for Glasgow Warriors, Scarlets and Edinburgh Rugby. Early life Barclay was born in Hong Kong, where he went to Bradbury School, discovering mini rugby at Stanley Fort RFC.
