The 2008 Ukrainian Amateur Cup was the thirteenth annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition for amateur football teams. The competition started on 6 August 2008 and concluded on 8 November 2008. FC Irpin Horenychi
FC Irpin Horenychi was an amateur club from Horenychi and participated in the regional competitions of Kyiv Oblast. The club became famous for fielding former Ukraine international footballers who were about to retire from professional sport. The club was founded in 2005, although Horenychi used to have a football team before that won several champion titles of Kyiv Oblast back in 1960s-1970s. The club dissolved in 2009. FC Olimpik Kropyvnytskyi ( uk, Олімпік) is an amateur football club based in Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine. Before 2015 it was known as FC Olimpik Kirovohrad. The club regularly participates in the Kirovohrad Oblast Football Championship. In 2007–08 it played at the Ukrainian Second League. History Olimpik Kropyvnytskyi entered the profession ranks in 2007 competing in the Druha Liha B.
