Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships
The Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships are the European championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. They were first held in 1978. The European Championships and the European Junior Championships were united in 1993. Prior to 2006, they were called the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. Ksenia Sankovich ( be, Ксенія Андрэеўна Санковіч, Łacinka: Ksienija Andrejeŭna Sankovič; born 27 July 1990) is a Belarusian rhythmic gymnast. She is a two-time Olympic medalist in the group all-around competition. Career Sankovich won a bronze medal in the group all-around competition at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Zornitsa Marinova ( bg, Зорница Маринова; born 6 January 1987 in Veliko Tarnovo) is a retired Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She represented Bulgaria in two editions of the Olympic Games (2004 and 2008), and also contributed to a fourth-place effort in the group all-around tournament at the 2007 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Patras, Greece.
