Porsche Supercup
The Porsche Supercup (officially known as Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, known as Porsche Michelin Supercup prior to 2007) is an international one-make sports car racing series supporting the FIA Formula One World Championship organized by Porsche Motorsport GmbH. Porsche Supercup drivers compete in identical Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. On average, 24 race cars take part in each race. Most circuits visited by the series are European, although circuits in Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, the United States and Mexico have been included in the calendar as well. Alx Danielsson
Alexander "Alx" Danielsson (born 1 April 1981) is a Swedish racing driver and the 2006 champion of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. He currently competes in the Swedish V8 Thundercar Series and as a fill-in driver on the Monster Jam circuit. Career Danielsson's career started in karting in 1998, where he stayed until 1999 before moving up to Formula Ford. In 2004 Danielsson progressed to Formula Renault V6 in Europe and Asia before moving onto the Formula Renault 3.5 Series in Europe. In 2006 he was racing in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series for the British team Comtec Racing and doing exceptionally well. After suffering two hard crashes that could have ended his season at the Spa circuit in Belgium, he managed to take a double win at Donington on September 9 and 10 2006. Will Langhorne
William Langhorne (born July 29, 1974, in Washington, D.C.), is a race car driver sponsored by Porsche. He is also a former driver in the Indy Racing League. After coming up through karting and the Skip Barber Racing Schools, he drove in the Barber Dodge Pro Series from 1997 to 1999 and Toyota Atlantic in 1999 and 2000. He reached his goal of top-level open-wheel racing when he competed in the 2002 IRL season with 3 starts for Treadway Racing. His best career IRL finish was in 13th position in the Delphi Indy 300 at the Chicagoland Speedway. In 2003, he raced in Formula 3000 for BCN Competicion. Norbert Siedler
Norbert Siedler (born 29 December 1982 in Wildschönau) is an Austrian racing driver. Career Siedler began his career in motorsport in karts. In 1992 he began at the age of ten years in the German Kartszene and in 1997, won the junior class. In 1999, he was an Austrian kart driver. In 2000, he moved into Formula Ford and won in Germany and Austria as well as the championship. In 2001 he drove in the German Formula Three Championship. For the team Palfinger he finished 4th place twice, including once at Hockenheim supporting the German Grand Prix. In 2002, he was sixth in the championship and finished the season with a victory in the last race at Hockenheim. This was followed by three years in the Italian Euro Formula 3000 Championship. René Rast
René Rast (born 26 October 1986 in Minden) is a German professional racing driver and the 2017, 2019 and 2020 DTM champion. He previously drove for Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler in Formula E from 2019 to 2021 before Audi left the sport at the end of 2021. He claimed overall wins at the 2012 and 2014 24 Hours of Spa, 2014 24 Hours of Nurburgring and a class win at the 2012 24 Hours of Daytona. Career After competing in karting and Formula BMW, Rast won the 2005 ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup and was runner-up at the 2006 Seat León Supercopa Germany. Brauerei C & A Veltins () is a brewery in the west German city of Meschede-Grevenstein. In 2015, Veltins ranked fourth among Germany's best selling beers. The small guesthouse brewery of Franz Kramer opened its simple wooden gates in 1824. Clemens Veltins took over the brewery in 1852. The new name, Brauerei C & A Veltins, came from the twins Carl and Anton Veltins who took over the company from their father in 1893. Veltins brewery produces the well known Veltins Pilsener beer. Susanne Veltins has directed the company since 1994. Veltins owns the naming rights to the football stadium Veltins-Arena of German Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirchen. It is one of the most modern stadiums in Europe. The stadium hosted the 2004 UEFA Champions League Final and five matches in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. James Pickford
James Pickford (born 30 April 1979 in Macclesfield, Cheshire) is a British race car driver. As a child his interest was in motorbikes; his father Keith ran bike racing teams. James started at the beginning in karts in 1994. For a while he was coached by former BTCC racer Tim Sugden. His interest in saloon and sportscars began when he lost a test in a BTCC car after being nominated for the BRDC McLaren Autosport Young Driver of the Year award in 1998. His start in motor racing was in 1997, in the Formula Honda series. He won this 2 years in a row, and also did a single Formula Ford race in 1998. After a year working on marketing within the prestigious Abt Sportsline team in the DTM, he returned to full-time racing in 2003, in the SEAT Cupra Championship. Phil Quaife
Phil Quaife (born 27 March 1986) is a British racing driver. Career Quaife enjoyed a successful start to his racing career. After winning his first major karting title in the Junior Rotax Max winter championship before finishing as runner-up in the summer championship in 2002, he stepped up to the Senior Rotax Max series in '03, finishing 5th overall. For 2004 Phil graduated to the Radical SR3 Enduro Championship for his first full season in cars. He would go on to make rapid progress over a season in which he took several podiums, ending up sixth in the overall standings and the proud winner of the 'most improved driver' award. Michael Bleekemolen
Michael Bleekemolen (born 2 October 1949 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands) is a racing driver who currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving for the family-owned Team Bleekemolen in the No. 69 Ford Mustang in the Elite 2 class. He previously raced for the RAM and ATS teams in Formula One. He graduated from Formula Vee and tried his hand at Formula One in 1977, where he failed to qualify at his home Grand Prix. Nevertheless, he returned the following year with ATS for four races, but qualified only once, at Watkins Glen. After Formula One, he returned to Formula 3 for another three years, winning two rounds of the European Championship and finishing second in the series to Alain Prost.
