Big Sky Conference
The Big Sky Conference (BSC) is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA's Division I with football competing in the Football Championship Subdivision. Member institutions are located in the western United States in the eight states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. 2008 Appalachian State Mountaineers Football Team
The 2008 Appalachian State Mountaineers football team represented Appalachian State University in the 2008 NCAA Division I FCS football season. It was the 79th season of play for the Mountaineers. The team was led by Jerry Moore, the 2006 Eddie Robinson Award winner for Coach of the Year. It was his 20th season as head coach. The Mountaineers played their home games at Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone, North Carolina. Appalachian completed a perfect Southern Conference season at 8–0, and became just the fourth football program in conference history to win four straight conference titles. The ''Great Falls Tribune'' is a daily morning newspaper printed in Helena, Montana. It is one of Montana's largest newspaper companies. History The first edition of the newspaper then called the ''Weekly Tribune'' was printed on May 14, 1885. Starting on May 16, 1887, the ''Tribune'' became a daily newspaper. Marc Steven Mariani (born May 2, 1987) is a former American football wide receiver and return specialist. He played college football for the University of Montana, and was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft. High school Mariani attended Havre High School where he was awarded 10 letters: three each in football and basketball and four in tennis. He was named all-state at wide receiver. Cole Bergquist (born November 16, 1985) is an American real estate broker and developer and a former Canadian football quarterback for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
