2008 Hall Of Fame Tennis Championships
The 2008 Hall of Fame Tennis Championships (also known as the ''Campbell Soup Company, Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships'' for sponsorship reasons) was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 33rd edition of the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, and was part of the ATP International Series, International Series of the 2008 ATP Tour. It took place at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, United States, from July 7 through July 13, 2008. ATP International Series
The ATP International Series (known from 1990 to 1997 as the ATP World Series) was a series of professional tennis tournaments held internationally as part of the ATP Tour from 2000 to 2008. The series was renamed ATP Tour 250 in 2009. International Series offered players cash prizes (tournaments have purses from $416,000 to $1,000,000) and the ability to earn ATP ranking points. They generally offered less prize money and fewer points than the ATP International Series Gold, but more than tournaments on the ATP Challenger Series. Rohan Bopanna
Rohan Bopanna ( ; born 4 March 1980) is an Indian professional tennis player. His tennis singles, singles career-high ranking was world No. 213 in 2007 and his career-high ranking in doubles was world No. 3 on 22 July 2013. He has been a member of the Indian Davis Cup team since 2002. Bopanna partnered with Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi in doubles in 2007. The duo, nicknamed the ''IndoPak Express'', went on to win four Challenger titles in quick succession. However, it was only in the 2010 season that the pair broke into the top-ten doubles teams. Prakash Amritraj (born October 2, 1983) is an American former professional tennis player, who represented India in international tournaments. He is the son of former Indian tennis player Vijay Amritraj. Background Prakash Amritraj is the son of Indian tennis player Vijay Amritraj and Shyamala, a Sri Lankan Tamil. Donald Oliver Young Jr. (born July 23, 1989) is an American professional tennis player. Young had a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 38 achieved on 27 February 2012 and doubles ranking of No. 43 achieved on 14 August 2017.
