The 2008 Formul'Academy Euro Series season was the sixteenth season of the series for 1600cc Formula Renault Formula Renault are classes of formula racing popular in Europe and elsewhere. Regarded as an entry-level series to auto racing, motor racing, it was founded in 1971, and was a respected series where drivers can learn advanced racecraft before mov ... machinery, and the first under the Formul'Academy Euro Series guise. It replaced the FFSA Formule Campus Renault Elf, and was managed by the Auto Sport Academy. The series used Signatech chassis powered by Renault K4MRS 1600cc engines. Rounds were contested in France, Belgium, Czech Republic and United Kingdom at 7 venues. Circuit De Nevers Magny-Cours
Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours is a motor racing circuit located in central France, near the towns of Magny-Cours and Nevers, some from Paris and from Lyon. It staged the Formula One French Grand Prix from 1991 (succeeding Circuit Paul Ricard) to 2008, and the 24-hour Bol d'Or motorcycle endurance events from 2000 to 2014 (succeeded by Circuit Paul Ricard).
