2008 FC Moscow Season
The 2008 FC Moscow season was the club's 5th season in existence after taking over the licence of Torpedo-Metallurg in 2004. They finished the season in 9th place, and reached the Round of 16 in the Russian Cup, with the Quarterfinal taking place in the 2009 season. FC Moscow was formed on the base of FC Torpedo-Metallurg. The team played in the Russian Cup final in 2007. Moscow's best result in Russian Premier League was a 4th position in 2007. On 14 December 2007, Oleg Blokhin was announced as FC Moscow's new manager with Leonid Slutsky having left at the end of the 2007 season. Roman Hubník
Roman Hubník (; born 6 June 1984) is a retired Czech professional association football, football Defender (association football), defender. His career was connected especially with SK Sigma Olomouc, Sigma Olomouc, FC Viktoria Plzeň, Viktoria Plzeň and Hertha BSC. Until 2016, he also played for the Czech Republic national football team, Czech national team. His brother Michal Hubník is also a footballer. FC Kuban Krasnodar
FC Kuban (russian: link=no, Футбольный клуб "Кубань" Краснодар) was a Russian football club based in Krasnodar. The team began playing in the Russian Premier League in 2011, after it was promoted for winning the Russian First Division. FC Kuban was one of the oldest football clubs in Russia. Founded as Dynamo of the Krasnodar NKVD, FC Kuban changed its affiliations because of changing politics in the USSR. Club members and fans were called "Kubantsy" () (because of its Kuban, location) or "yellow-greens" (the club colours). The team was also known as the "Cossacks" by fans. Mariusz Jop (born 3 August 1978) is a Polish retired professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Born in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski Jop started out playing for KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Isaac Okoronkwo (born 1 May 1978) is a Nigerian former professional football player who played as a defender. Career Okoronkwo started his career at FC Lagos before moving to the Nigerian club Julius Berger. His first club outside Nigeria was a six-month spell at Al-Rayyan in Qatar, but the club could not afford to keep him beyond this period and he returned home to Iwuanyanwu Nationale.
