2008 FC Bunyodkor Season
The 2008 season was Bunyodkor's second season in the Uzbek League in Uzbekistan. Bunyodkor competed in the Uzbek League, the Uzbek Cup and AFC Champions League tournaments. FC Bunyodkor
Football Club Bunyodkor ( uz, Bunyodkor futbol klubi) is an Uzbekistan, Uzbek professional association football, football club based in Tashkent that competes in the Uzbekistan Super League. Bunyodkor, a relatively unknown club at the time, made international headlines when it claimed to be close to signing world-famous FC Barcelona, Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o, although he did not sign with them. On 25 August 2008, AEK Athens FC, AEK Athens Brazilian superstar Rivaldo announced to the Greek press that he was joining Bunyodkor on a reported $14 million two-year contract. The club finished second in the 2007 Uzbek League season and made the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League 2008, 2008 AFC Champions League. In the beginning of August 2008, the club changed its name to ''Bunyodkor'' from PFC Kuruvchi to reflect the club's success on the pitch and its increasing professionalism off the pitch.

Pavel Bugalo
Pavel Viktorovich Bugalo (russian: Павел Викторович Бугало; born 21 August 1974) is an Uzbekistani former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career He was awarded the Uzbekistan Footballer of the Year title in 1996 and 1997, while playing for Pakhtakor He later played in Russia with Alania Vladikavkaz and in Kazakhstan, where he became cup champion in 2002 with Zhenis Astana. In 2007-2010 he played for Bunyodkor where he won in 2008 Uzbek championship and Cup. In 2011, he moved to another capital club, Lokomotiv Tashkent and played there 3 seasons. In December 2013 he left Lokomotiv, moving back to Bunyodkor and signed a contract with club. Luiz Carlos Nascimento Júnior (born 3 January 1987), commonly known as Luizão, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a central defender. FC Mash'al Mubarek ( uz, Mashal Muborak professional futbol klubi) is an Uzbek football club based in Mubarek. ''Mash'al'' means a torch. History The club was founded in 1982. Mashʼal played its first years in province league, later in UzSSR league. In 1993 the club started to play in Uzbekistan First League and two years later after 1994 season club gained promotion to Oliy League. Hayrulla Karimov (born 22 April 1978 in Namangan region, Uzbekistan) is a former Uzbek international footballer. Career Club Karimov started his career in Navbahor Namangan.
