2008 Czech And Slovak Figure Skating Championships
The 2008 Czech and Slovak Figure Skating Championships ( sk, Majstrovstva CR a SR seniori 2008) were held on December 14–16, 2007 in Trenčín, Slovakia. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, and ice dancing on the senior and junior levels. The two national championships were held simultaneously and the results were then split by country. The top three skaters from each country formed their national podiums. Therefore, there are no medal colors on the table below because it shows the combined overall results. The table can be sorted by country. This was the second consecutive season that the Czech and Slovak Championships were held simultaneously. Trenčín
Trenčín (, also known by other alternative names) is a city in western Slovakia of the central Váh River valley near the Czech border, around from Bratislava. Igor Macypura ( uk, Ігор Маципура: Ihor Matsypura or Igor Matsipura; born 10 April 1985) is a Ukraine, Ukrainian figure skater who competed internationally for Slovakia. He is the 2008 Triglav Trophy silver medalist, the 2008 International Cup of Nice bronze medalist, the 2006 Ondrej Nepela Memorial bronze medalist, and a three-time Slovak Figure Skating Championships, Slovak national champion. Alexandra Herbríková
Alexandra Herbríková (born 13 October 1992) is a pair skater who competes with Nicolas Roulet for Switzerland. They are the 2014 NRW Trophy silver medalists and three-time Swiss national champions. Career Herbríková began learning to skate in 1996. Early in her career, she represented the Czech Republic with Lukáš Ovčáček. She Alexandr Zaboev, and Rudy Halmaert. With Halmaert, she is the 2012 Czech national champion and placed 13th at the 2012 European Championships. In 2013, Herbríková teamed up with Swiss skater Nicolas Roulet. Petr Bidař
Petr Bidař (born 18 March 1991) is a Czech former competitive pair skater. Competing with Klára Kadlecová, he placed 7th at the 2011 European Championships in Bern and 15th at the 2011 World Championships in Moscow. In January 2012, Bidař stated that they had parted ways and he would continue his career with Martina Boček. He injured his shoulder in training during the summer of 2012 and retired from competition that year following Boček's decision not to return to pairs after a fall. His youger brother, Martin Bidař, is also a pair skater.
