2008 British Formula Three Championship
The 2008 Formula 3 International Series was the 58th British Formula 3 International Series season. It began on 24 March 2008 at Oulton Park's Easter Monday meeting and ended on 12 October at Donington Park after 22 rounds in four countries. Jay Bridger sealed the National Class championship at the Bucharest meeting, with a third place in round nineteen. The overall championship went down to the final meeting as Oliver Turvey, Jaime Alguersuari, Brendon Hartley and Sergio Pérez all had a chance of winning the title, however it was Alguersuari that won the title, thanks to a double win at Donington. Mugen Motorsports (無限), legally known as M-TEC Company, Ltd., is a Japanese company formed in 1973 by Hirotoshi Honda, the son of Honda Motor Company founder Soichiro Honda, and Masao Kimura. Philip Major (born December 8, 1988) is a retired Canadian racing driver. After karting and amateur racing, Major began professional racing in 2006 in Formula BMW USA. Marcus Thorbjörn Ericsson (; born 2 September 1990) is a Swedish professional racing driver. Sebastian Hohenthal (born 5 November 1984 in Mora) is a former racing driver from Sweden. Career Karting Hohenthal competed in kart racing from 1995 to 2000. During this period he won the Dalacupen Formula Micro in 1996, the Tom Trana Trophy ICA Junior in 1999, and both the Nordic and Swedish ICA Junior championships in 2000. Atte Mustonen (born 16 September 1988 in Heinola, Finland), is a single-seater motor racing driver. Motorsport career Like many aspiring motor racing drivers, Mustonen began his career with kart racing at the age of 11.
