Dominique Nouailhac
"Dominique" is a 1963 French language popular song, written and performed by the Belgian female singer Jeannine Deckers, better known as Sœur Sourire ("Sister Smile" in French) or The Singing Nun. The song is about Saint Dominic, a Spanish-born priest and founder of the Dominican Order, of which she was a member (as Sister Luc-Gabrielle). Adrien Mörk
Adrien Mörk (born 19 September 1979) is a French professional golfer. In 2006 he recorded the first ever sub 60 round on any tour run by the PGA European Tour. Career Mörk was born in Montbéliard. He attended McNeese State University in the United States. He has been a professional since 2004 and, after finding success on the third tier Alps Tour, was a Challenge Tour rookie in 2006. On 26 May 2006, in the second round of the Tikida Hotels Agadir Moroccan Classic, Mörk shot the first 59 in the history of the Challenge Tour, European Tour or European Seniors Tour. This was his scorecard: He went on to win the tournament by one stroke. He also won the OKI Mahou Challenge de Espana later in the season as he finished 20th in the final Challenge Tour Rankings to graduate to the European Tour for 2007. Victor Riu
Victor Riu (born 6 April 1985) is a French professional golfer. Career Riu began playing golf at the age of eleven and turned professional in 2006. He spent three years playing on the Alps Tour, finishing second in the order of merit in 2008 to advance to the Challenge Tour. After a further three years at that level, with two runners-up finishes and a best season of 32nd in the 2010 standings, Riu came through qualifying school at the end of 2011 to earn a place on the European Tour for the first time. 2009 Challenge Tour
The 2009 Challenge Tour was the 21st season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour. The tour started as the Satellite Tour with its first Order of Merit rankings in 1989 and was officially renamed as the Challenge Tour at the start of the 1990 season. The Challenge Tour Rankings were won by Italy's Edoardo Molinari. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2009 season. Marco Crespi
Marco Crespi (born 5 November 1978) is an Italian professional golfer. Career Crespi was born in Monza, Italy. He turned professional in 2002. Crespi played on the Challenge Tour in 2006–09 and 2012–13. He was invited to the 2012 Telenet Trophy which he won to earn full membership of the Challenge Tour. He subsequently won the 2013 Mugello Tuscany Open. Crespi earned his 2014 European Tour card via qualifying school on his 11th attempt. He also earned his first European Tour win at the NH Collection Open and is the oldest rookie to win in European Tour history. By 2016, Crespi lost his European Tour card and was playing on the third tier Alps Tour, where he won in 2017. Jean-François Remésy
Jean-François Remésy (born 5 June 1964), also known as Jeff Remésy, is a French professional golfer. Career Remésy was born in Nîmes, Occitania. He won the French Amateur Championship in 1985 and turned professional in 1987. For much of his career he has struggled to establish himself as a tour golfer, and he has made over a dozen trips to the European Tour Qualifying School. His first professional win came in a small tournament in France in 1991 and he won on the Challenge Tour in 1994, but he didn't break into the top 100 on the European Tour Order of Merit until 1999. That year he won the Estoril Open on the main tour, and he has continued to progress since then. In 2004 he became the first Frenchman to win the Open de France in 35 years, and in 2005 he retained his title by beating fellow Frenchman Jean van de Velde in a playoff. Czech Golf Open
The Czech Open was a professional golf tournament on the European Tour which was held annually in the Czech Republic. The tournament first appeared on the European Tour schedule between 1994 and 1997 as the Chemapol Trophy Czech Open, and was the first European Tour event staged east of the former Iron Curtain after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The first three of those events were held at the Golf Club Mariánské Lázně in Mariánské Lázně, before moving to the Prague Karlstein Golf Club, overlooked by Karlštejn Castle, just outside Prague. Germany's former World Number 1 Bernhard Langer was much the most distinguished of the four champions. Following flood disasters in the Czech Republic in 1997, the Czech Open in the following year was canceled at the request of the sponsors, and lost its place on the European Tour schedule as a result.
