2007–08 Ukrainian Second League
The 2007–08 Ukrainian Second League is the 17th season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competitions are divided into two groups – A and B. FC Nyva Vinnytsia is a professional Ukraine, Ukrainian association football, football club based in the city of Vinnytsia. The name "Nyva" translates to "grain field". The club was originally created in 1958 in the Soviet Union and folded in 2005 and 2012, but was reformed again in 2015 as Nyva-V and renamed back to Nyva in 2018. History Previous clubs A football team in Vinnytsia existed before the World War II as a local team of Vinnytsia city, which participated in championships among other cities. After the 1936 reorganization of football competition, the team then continued to play in lower tiers. FC Ros' Bila Tserkva
FC Ros Bila Tserkva is a Ukrainian amateur Association football club based in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv Oblast that was expelled from the professional league after the 2010–11 season. The club was formed in 1983. The club's best season was in the first year competing in independent Ukraine when they finished 4th in the Ukrainian First League Group A. FC Obolon-2 Kyiv
FC Obolon-2 Bucha is the second team of Ukrainian professional football club FC Obolon Kyiv based in Bucha. It started in 2001 and played until February 2013, when it was discontinued for financial reasons. FC Dynamo-3 Kyiv
FC Dynamo-3 Kyiv was a Ukrainian football team based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The team has been featured in the Ukrainian Second League, since it cannot be promoted to the Ukrainian First League, being a junior team from the FC Dynamo Kyiv franchise, which already has its 2nd tier team (FC Dynamo-2 Kyiv) in the First League. History Like most tributary teams, the best players are sent up to the senior team, meanwhile developing other junior players for further call-ups. The team consists of Dynamo's players whose average age is less than 20—In essence the club's future. The players usually progress to this team through the Dynamo Kyiv youth system. FC Naftovyk Dolyna () is a Ukrainian amateur football club based in Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The club played in the Ivano-Frankivs'k oblast league and in the early 1990s. Football Sports Club Bukovyna Chernivtsi is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Chernivtsi. History The club was established in 1958 as Avanhard Chernivtsi (Avangard Chernovtsy) for republican competitions and became the first club from Chernivtsi Oblast to be added to the Soviet Class B competition in 1960. FC Podillya Khmelnytskyi is a professional Ukrainian football team that is based in Khmelnytskyi, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Ukraine. The club competes in the Ukrainian Second League. History Soviet era Established in the Soviet Union as part of the Dynamo sports society in 1926 as Dynamo Proskurov (Proskuriv), the club participated mostly in championships of the city and its region. In 1940 and 1941, it represented the region in the republican competitions among the sports societies of Ukraine. During World War II, the Soviet sports competitions were suspended and the club was disbanded. FC Spartak Ivano-Frankivsk was a Ukrainian football team based in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine, the unofficial capital of the Prykarpattia region. FC Krasyliv
FC Krasyliv was a Ukrainian football team that played in Krasyliv, Khmelnytskyi Oblast. History The club entered the professional leagues in 2001. The club was initially successful finishing in 3rd place in the Druha Liha Group "A". The next season they were crowned champions and were promoted to the Persha Liha for the 2002–03 season. The club, coming from a small provincial town was under financial duress and in 2003–04 they forged a union with Obolon and became their farm club under the name Krasyliv-Obolon. Before the next season started FC Podillya Khmelnytskyi who finish 2nd in the Ukrainian Second League 2003-04 season merges with Krasyliv-Obolon and moves the team operations from Khmelnytskyi to Krasyliv prior to the start of season.
