2007–08 Dundee United F.C. Season
Dundee United finished the Scottish Premier League 2007–08 season in 5th place with 52 points. Noel Hunt was the top scorer with 18 goals. Review and events The pre-season period began with two new permanent signings at the club, Polish goalkeeper Łukasz Załuska and Darren Dods having signed deals in June. Irishman Willo Flood also arrived from Cardiff City on a season-long loan deal. In July, former Ajax youngster Prince Buaben signed after a successful trial and was joined by a second Polish keeper, Grzegorz Szamotulski, in time for the league season. Cardiff City
Cardiff City Football Club ( cy, Clwb Pêl-droed Dinas Caerdydd) is a professional association football club based in Cardiff, Wales. It competes in the Championship, the second tier of the English football league system. Ross Gardiner
Ross John Gardiner (born 30 December 1986) is a Scottish footballer who plays in central defence/left back and is currently not signed. Career Gardiner was born in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire, but grew up in the Aberdeen area (his father John was also a footballer who played as a goalkeeper, and then managed teams in the Highland League). He trained with Aberdeen prior to joining Dundee United's youth system, initially as an under-14 player. Collin Andrew Samuel CM (born 27 August 1981) is a Trinidad and Tobago former professional footballer who played as a winger or striker. He represented Trinidad and Tobago at senior international level and played in the 2006 World Cup. David McCracken
David McCracken (born 16 October 1981) is a Scottish football player and coach, whose last role was as co-manager of Falkirk between 2019 and 2021. McCracken, who played as a central defender, was a Scotland under-21 internationalist, having made five appearances at that level between 2001 and 2003. McCracken started his career with Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League and was a first team player there for seven years before leaving in May 2007. Derek Daniel Stillie (born 3 December 1973) is a Scottish retired footballer, who played as a goalkeeper for a number of clubs in Scotland and England. Jordan Steven Robertson (born 12 February 1988) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. Born in Sheffield he began his career with Sheffield United but failed to ever break into the first team. He was loaned out to a number of clubs during his time with United, including Torquay United, Northampton Town, Dundee United, Oldham Athletic, Southampton, Ferencváros and Bury. While with Southampton he was involved in a traffic accident in which the driver of the other car was killed. Robertson was subsequently jailed for 32 months for causing death by dangerous driving.
