2007 S.League
2007 S.League was the twelfth season of Singapore's professional football league. It was won by Singapore Armed Forces, which was their sixth league title. Changes from 2006 * Korean Super Reds represented the Korean community in Singapore. They were renamed Super Reds on 14 August 2007. * Liaoning Guangyuan were a farm team of Chinese Super League club Liaoning. * Sporting Afrique went out of operations at the end of the 2006 season after the Football Association of Singapore rejected their application to participate in the 2007 season. Foreign players Each club is allowed to have up to a maximum of 4 foreign players. * Albirex Niigata (S), Liaoning Guangyuan and Super Reds are not allowed to hire any foreigners. Warriors Football Club is a Singaporean professional football club that played in the Singapore Premier League, the top division of football in Singapore. Before changing their name on 20 January 2013, they were previously known as the Singapore Armed Forces Football Club (SAFFC) since their establishment on 16 February 1996. Despite their name back then, not all players from the team came from the Armed Forces. Some were internationals and others were foreign. The club's original choice of mascot was a wolf, but club officials chose a rhinoceros, which represents discipline, spirit, courage and teamwork. Chinese Super League
The Chinese Football Association Super League, commonly known as Chinese Super League or CSL, currently known as the China Ping An Chinese Football Association Super League for sponsorship reasons, is the highest tier of professional football in China, operating under the auspices of the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The league was established in 2004 by the rebranding of the former top division, Chinese Jia-A League. Initially contested by 12 teams in its inaugural year, the league has since expanded, with 18 teams competing in the 2022 season. A total of 35 teams have competed in the CSL since its inception, with 8 of them winning the title: Guangzhou (eight), Shandong Taishan (four), Shenzhen, Dalian Shide, Changchun Yatai, Beijing Guoan, Shanghai Port, and Jiangsu (all one title). Ojimi Gabriel "O.J." Obatola (born October 24, 1987, in Lagos, Nigeria) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward. He currently is a free agent. Theerawekin Seehawong ( th, ธีระเวคิน สีหะวงค์), alternatively spelt as Theerawesin Seehawong, is a Thai professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Thai League 2 club Pattaya United. Kim Tyrone Grant (born 25 September 1972) is a former professional footballer who has been involved in top level professional football for over 24 years, playing in Europe and Asia. Club career Born in Sekondi-Takoradi, Grant started his career at Charlton Athletic in their youth system and he signed his first professional contract in March 1991. He went on to make 155 appearances spanning over nine years and scoring 25 goals. He later made appearances for Charlton against Manchester United and Liverpool in the FA Cup and scored a 20-yard curler to beat David James in a 2–1 defeat to in 1996. Ballamodou "Balla" Conde (born 18 October 1973, in Conakry) is a retired Guinean footballer, who played as a midfielder. Club career Conde made his professional debuts at the age of 16 with Horoya AC in the Guinean League, making a substantial contribution as the team won three national championships. Norikazu Murakami
is a Japanese former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Murakami was born in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. He played for the Yokohama Flugels and Yokohama F Marinos youth teams as well as Meiji University. He also played for regional league side YSCC Yokohama and futsal with Predator Urayasu Futsal Club.
