2007 Russian Figure Skating Championships
The 2007 Russian Figure Skating Championships (russian: Чемпионат России по фигурному катанию на коньках 2007) took place between 4 and 7 January 2007 in Moscow. Skaters competed at the senior level in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The juniors event was held separately. It was the qualifying event for the 2007 World Junior Championships. The 1st through 3rd places in men, pairs, and ice dancing qualified for the World Junior Championships. Denis Leushin
Denis Alexandrovich Leushin (russian: Денис Александрович Леушин; born 25 July 1985) is a Russian former competitive figure skater. He placed 13th at the 2004 World Junior Championships in The Hague and won gold at the 2010 Golden Spin of Zagreb. After retiring from competition, he began working as a coach in Russia. Margarita Tertychnaya
A margarita is a cocktail consisting of Tequila, triple sec, and lime juice often served with salt on the rim of the glass. The drink is served shaken with ice (on the rocks), blended with ice (frozen margarita), or without ice (straight up). The drink is generally served in a stepped-diameter variant of a cocktail glass or champagne coupe called a margarita glass. Origin The history of the margarita is one of folklore due to its numerous origin stories. According to cocktail historian David Wondrich, the margarita is related to the brandy daisy (''margarita'' is Spanish for "daisy"), remade with tequila instead of brandy. (Daisies are a family of cocktails that include a base spirit, liqueur, and citrus. A Sidecar (cocktail), sidecar and gin daisy are other related drinks.) Alena Leonova
Alena Igorevna Leonova (russian: Алёна Игоревна Леонова; born 23 November 1990) is a retired Russian figure skater. She is the 2012 World silver medalist, the 2011 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, the 2009 World Junior champion, and a three-time (2010–2012) Russian national medalist. She is also the 2014–15 ISU Challenger Series runner-up. Personal life Alena Igorevna Leonova was born on 23 November 1990 in Saint Petersburg (Leningrad). Viktoria Yevgenyevna Volchkova (; married name: Butsaeva (russian: Буцаева); born 30 July 1982) is a Russian figure skating coach and former competitor. She is a four-time (1999–2002) European bronze medalist, the 2002 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, the 2002 Cup of Russia champion, and a seven-time Russian national medalist. Elena Sergeyevna Sokolova (russian: Елена Сергеевна Соколова; born 15 February 1980) is a Russian former competitive figure skater. She is the 2003 World silver medalist, a three-time European medalist (2003–2004, 2006), and a three-time Russian national champion (2003–2004, 2006). Personal life Elena Sokolova was born on 15 February 1980 in Moscow. She studied at the Institute for Physical Culture in Moscow. Sergei Rozanov (figure Skater)
Sergei Vasilievich Rozanov (1870–1937) was a Russian Empire clarinetist and teacher, considered to be the founder of modern Russian clarinet school. In 1886, he entered Moscow Conservatory, where his teacher was Franz Zimmermann (1818–1891), solo clarinet of Bolshoi theatre. After graduating in 1890, Rozanov began his career as an orchestral musician in different opera theatres of Moscow. In 1894 he was engaged as a second clarinet in Bolshoi theatre, and three years later became the solo clarinet. He kept this place up to 1929. Rozanov also performed frequently as a soloist and chamber musician, he was the first Russian clarinetist to play the quintets of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johannes Brahms, and also the Trio pathétique by Mikhail Glinka.
