The 2007 MTV Video Music Brazil was hosted by Daniela Cicarelli and took place at the Credicard Hall. In 2007, the awards have faced a major rebranding, with several categories extinguished (most notably the specific genre divisions), and the awards in general no longer awarded the best videos (with the exception of the Video of the Year category); instead, the awards were generally focused on the artists, similarly to the MTV Europe Music Awards. Autoramas
The Autoramas are a Brazilian surf/garage rock/garage punk/rockabilly band that started in the late 90s and continue playing to this day. History The Autoramas was formed by Gabriel Thomaz (guitar and vocals) that, after becoming known with its group Little Quail and The Mad Birds and to make success like composer of bands like Raimundos and Ultraje a Rigor, changes to Rio de Janeiro and invites his friends Nervoso Drums and Simone to make a sound baptized in Portuguese as "Rock to Dance", a mixture of the surfers of the 60's with the New Wave of the 1980s, more influences of rockabilly, Jovem Guarda and the energy of punk rock, with guitars with timbre s striking, bass distorted and Beat dancing. Fergie (singer)
Stacy Ann Ferguson (born March 27, 1975), better known by her stage name Fergie (), is an American singer and rapper. She first achieved chart success as part of the hip hop group the Black Eyed Peas. Her debut solo album, ''The Dutchess'' (2006), saw commercial success and spawned three ''Billboard'' Hot 100 number one singles: "London Bridge", " Glamorous", and "Big Girls Don't Cry". Fall Out Boy is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in 2001. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, lead guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley. Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in Sheffield in 2002. Amy Winehouse
Amy Jade Winehouse (14 September 1983 – 23 July 2011) was an English singer and songwriter. She was known for her deep, expressive contralto vocals and her eclectic mix of musical genres, including soul, rhythm and blues and jazz. Moptop (band)
Moptop was a Brazilian alternative rock band from Rio de Janeiro, popular throughout the mid- to late 2000s. Initially known as DeLux, they were formed in 2003 and comprised vocalist/lead guitarist Gabriel Marques, second guitarist Rodrigo Curi, bassist Daniel Campos and drummer Mário Mamede. Strongly influenced by acts such as The Strokes (to whom they were frequently compared), The Beatles, Franz Ferdinand, Ramones and Los Hermanos, they began playing in small venues with songs in English; by the time of the release of their first demo, ''Moonrock'', in 2005, they changed their name to "Moptop" in a reference to the famous hairstyle worn by The Beatles in the 1960s. Mariana Aydar is a Brazilian singer of MPB (Brazilian popular music). Biography She was born in São Paulo in 1980 in a family of musicians. Maria do Céu Whitaker Poças, known professionally as Céu (; born 17 April 1980), is a Brazilian singer-songwriter whose first American album was released on the Six Degrees Records label in April 2007. Fresno is a Brazilian rock band formed in Porto Alegre in late 1999. As of 2020, members are Lucas Silveira (vocals, bass, rhythm guitar, keyboards), Gustavo Mantovani (lead guitar) and Thiago Guerra (drums). They already have ten albums, the most recent being "Vou Ter Que Me Virar". Biography 1999-2000: Early days Lucas, Gustavo, Leandro and Pedro met in high school and were part of the student council. After a meeting in late 1999 they had the idea to start a band so they could have fun doing punk versions of pop hits of the time. Bonde do Rolê () is a Brazilian funk carioca-influenced electropop group from Curitiba, Paraná state, and consists of MC's Pedro D'Eyrot, Laura Taylor, and DJ/MC Rodrigo Gorky. In 2006, ''Rolling Stone'' described the group as "Brazilian Party Starters" and one of the "Top 10 Bands to Watch". Natiruts is a Brazilian reggae band from Brasília. Formed in 1996, Natiruts has released six studio albums and five live albums during a career spanning three decades.
