2007 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship
The 2007 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship was the 21st edition of the FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship. The cities of Ierapetra, Rethymno and Heraklion, in Greece, hosted the tournament. Serbia won the trophy for the first time since the dissolution of Serbia and Montenegro. Slovenia and Portugal were relegated to Division B. Competition system The tournament format changed from previously years. The sixteen teams were allocated in four groups of four teams each. The first three teams in each group qualified for the qualifying round. The last team of each group played for the 13th–16th position in the Classification Games. The twelve teams qualified for the qualifying round were allocated in two groups of six teams each. Dejan Musli ( sr-cyr, Дејан Мусли; born January 3, 1991) is a Serbian professional basketball player for MoraBanc Andorra of the Liga ACB. Standing at , he plays at the center position. Professional career FMP In the youth Musli won the Euroleague Basketball Nike International Junior Tournament twice with FMP dominating in the paint and winning MVP awards, which made him one of the most promising young players of his generation. In January 2009, Musli signed his first professional four-year contract with FMP, team where he spent previous 2 seasons at the junior level. In the summer of 2009, he won with his team the 2009 EuroLeague's NIJT junior tournament, after defeating the Lithuanian Lietuvos rytas. Aleksandar Obradović (basketball)
Aleksandar Obradović ( sr-cyr, Александар Обрадовић) (22 August 1927 in Bled, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes – 1 April 2001 in Belgrade, Serbia, FR Yugoslavia) was a Serbian 20th-century composer and professor at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. He was a Rector of the University of Arts in Belgrade (1979–1983). He was a composer, music writer, and pedagogue, active primarily in the Republic of Serbia. He composed significant chamber and concertante works, but his most considerable contribution to Serbian music belongs to the genre of symphonic music. His oeuvre consists of over two hundred works.
