2007 European Ladies' Team Championship
The 2007 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 10–14 July at Golf Club Castelconturbia in Agrate Conturbia, Italy. It was the 25th women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Venue The hosting Golf Club Castelconturbia was refounded in 1984. The three nine-hole courses, situated in Agrate Conturbia, in the Italian region of Piedmont, 60 kilometres north-west of Milan, on land were golf was played 90 years earlier, was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1987. The club had previously twice hosted the Italian Open on the European Tour, 1991 and 1998. Format All participating teams played two qualification rounds of stroke-play with six players, counted the five best scores for each team. Agrate Conturbia (Piedmontese language, Piedmontese: ''Agrà e Contòrbia'', Lombard language, Lombard: ''Agraa e Contorbia'') is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Novara, in the Italy, Italian region of Piedmont, located about northeast of Turin and about north of Novara. Caroline Afonso
Caroline Afonso (born 20 February 1985) is a retired French professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour (LET) 2008–2016. She was runner-up twice on the LET and won three LET Access Series events. Career Afonso started playing golf at 10 and was coached by Philippe Mendiburu, father of LET player Sandrine Mendiburu. She won the French Ladies Amateur Championship twice and was ranked best amateur in France 2007. Jodi Ewart Shadoff (born 7 January 1988) is an English professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and on the Ladies European Tour. Early life Ewart was born at Northallerton in North Yorkshire. Laura Gonzalez Escallon (born 6 October 1990) is a professional golfer from Belgium who has played on the LPGA Tour and the Symetra Tour. Amateur career Gonzalez was a member of the Belgium National Team and won the 2008 Girls Amateur Championship. Christine Wolf (born 5 March 1989) is an Austrian professional golfer. Wolf is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. 1998 European Tour
The 1998 European Tour was the 27th official season of golf tournaments known as the PGA European Tour. The season was made up of 33 tournaments counting for the Order of Merit, and several non-counting "Approved Special Events". The Order of Merit was won by Scotland's Colin Montgomerie for the sixth year in succession.
