2006–07 RC Lens Season
The 2006–07 season was the 101st season in the existence of RC Lens and the club's 16th consecutive season in the top-flight of French football. In addition to the domestic league, Lens participated in this season's editions of the Coupe de France, the Coupe de la Ligue and UEFA Cup. RC Lens
Racing Club de Lens (, commonly referred to as RC Lens or simply Lens) is a French professional football club based in the northern city of Lens in the Pas-de-Calais department. Its nickname, ''les sang et or'' (''the blood and gold''), comes from its traditional colours of red and gold. Their traditional rivals are their northern neighbours Lille, with whom they contest the ''Derby du Nord''. Their most famous trophy is winning the championship in 1998. Marco Miguel Gonçalves Ramos (born 26 April 1983) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a left back. Club career Born in Levallois-Perret, Hauts-de-Seine of Portuguese descent, Ramos began playing football with AS Monaco FC, reaching the club's youth academy at the age of 15. The Togo national football team ( French: Équipe nationale de football du Togo) represents Togo in international football and is controlled by the Togolese Football Federation. The France national under-21 football team (french: Equipe de France Espoirs), known in France as ''Les Espoirs'' (, ''The Hopes''), is the national under-21 football team of France and is controlled by the French Football Federation. Vitorino Hilton da Silva (born 13 September 1977), commonly known as Vitorino Hilton or just Hilton, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a centre-back.
