2006–07 Eastern Michigan Eagles Men's Basketball Team
The 2006–07 Eastern Michigan Eagles men's basketball team represented Eastern Michigan University during the 2006–07 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Eagles, led by 2nd year head coach Charles E. Ramsey, played their home games at the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center and were members of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 13–19, 6–10 in MAC play. They team finished 4th in the MAC West. They were knocked out in the 2nd round of the MAC Tournament by Toledo The team captains were Carlos Medlock, Craig Cashen. Charles Ramsey (basketball)
Charles Edward Ramsey (born March 25, 1961) is an American athlete and college basketball coach. He is the former head men's basketball coach at Eastern Michigan University. Early life Ramsey was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan and graduated from Ypsilanti High School in 1979, where he played on the baseball, basketball and football teams. He played collegiately for Fisk University from 1979 to 1981, and was named All-American. In 1992, Ramsey graduated from Eastern Michigan University. Ramsey was inducted into the Ypsilanti High School Athletic Hall of Fame where he was a 3 sport athlete in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, initiated at Delta Nu chapter. Career He has been an assistant basketball coach at the University of California, Drake University, Tennessee State and the University of Michigan. Bridgton Academy
Bridgton Academy is an all-male college preparatory school, college preparatory in Bridgton, Maine. Founded in 1808, the school sits at the northern tip of Long Lake in North Bridgton, Maine. The school has been NEASC accredited since 1934, making it one of the oldest accredited schools in the country. The school is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools. Crisler Center
Crisler Center (formerly known as the University Events Building and Crisler Arena) is an indoor arena located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is the home arena for the University of Michigan's men's and women's basketball teams as well as its women's gymnastics team. Constructed in 1967, the arena seats 12,707 spectators. It is named for Herbert O. "Fritz" Crisler, head football coach at Michigan from 1938 to 1947 and athletic director thereafter until his retirement in 1968. Crisler Center was designed by Dan Dworsky, a member of the 1948 Rose Bowl team. Among other structures that he has designed is the Federal Reserve Bank of Los Angeles. Davidson Wildcats Men's Basketball
The Davidson Wildcats basketball team is the basketball team that represents Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, in the NCAA. The school's team currently competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The team last played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2022. The Wildcats are currently coached by Matt McKillop, in his first season after succeeding his father Bob after the 2021–22 season. Western Illinois University (WIU) is a public university in Macomb, Illinois. It was founded in 1899 as Western Illinois State Normal School. As the normal school grew, it became Western Illinois State Teachers College. History Western Illinois University was founded in 1899.
