The 2006–07 Belarusian Extraliga season was the 15th season of the Belarusian Extraliga, the top level of ice hockey in Belarus. 11 teams participated in the league, and HC Dinamo Minsk won the championship. Belarusian Extraleague
The Belarusian Extraleague (abbreviated BHL, also known as the Belarusian Open Championship), officially formed in 2006, is the top ice hockey league in Belarus. In its past, it has switched several times between being and not being an open league (in reference to allowing foreign teams), but for the 2008–2009 season, the Belarus Ice Hockey Federation decided to open the Belarusian Extraleague, the Belarusian Premier League and the Belarusian junior leagues. Before the season 2018-2019 the Belarusian Extraleague was divided in two leagues: Extraleague A with 8 teams and Extraleague B with 9 teams. In the season 2021-2022 the division into Extraleague A and Extraleague B was canceled and 12 teams took part in the championship. Hockey Club Sokil Kyiv ( uk, ХК Сокіл Київ; en, Falcon Hockey Club), commonly known as Sokil Kyiv or HC Sokil, is a Ukrainian Professional Hockey League team based in Kyiv. HK Mogilev
HK Mogilev is an ice hockey team in Mogilev, Belarus. The team competes in the Belarusian Extraliga (BXL). History HK Mogilev was formed in 2000 and joined the Belarusian Extraleague in for the 2000–01 season. The following season the club changed their name to Khimvolokno Mogilev which they played under from 2001 until 2010. In 2001 Mogilev joined the Eastern European Hockey League Division B league as well as playing in the Belarusian Extraleague. For the 2002–03 season, Mogilev was promoted to the Eastern European Hockey League (EEHL) top league and did not compete in the Extraleague for the season. The club returned to the Extraleague for the 2003–04 season and competed in the final EEHL season before the league folded.
