Hayden Shaw
Hayden Jonathan Shaw (born 31 August 1980) is a field hockey player from New Zealand. Shaw was born in Christchurch. He earned his first cap for the national team, nicknamed ''The Black Sticks'', in 2002 against Australia. Shaw was often involved in penalty corner routines performing drag flicks. As a result, he was top scorer with 13 goals at the 2002 Commonwealth Games whilst winning a silver medal with the national team. After the 2006 Men's Hockey World Cup, Shaw was selected for the World Cup All Star team. He has played club hockey for HC 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. Shaw also played first-class cricket for Canterbury. He now works as a teacher at Pleasant Point Primary School in South Canterbury, having started in January 2019. Muhammad Saqlain is an international field hockey player from Pakistan. He plays Centre half. He made his international debut in 1998. Shakeel Abbasi (b: 5 January 1984, Quetta, Pakistan) is a former international field hockey player from Pakistan. He played as a forward mainly as an inside right or center forward. A skillful forward Abbasi was regarded as one of the finest players for Pakistan in his career making over 300 appearances. He also played for various club sides around the world reputed as a world class player of his era. Early life Abbasi was born in Quetta, Pakistan on 5 January 1984. Matías Enrique Paredes (born 1 February 1982) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Ducilo and the Argentine national team. Razie Rahim
Muhammad Razie Abdul Rahim (born 25 August 1987) is a Malaysian field hockey player who plays as a defender. He is known as the penalty corner specialist. Personal life He holds a Masters in Human Resource Management at University Putra Malaysia. In 2016, he reported as one of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) trainers. Career Razie made his debut in the Malaysia Hockey League in 2006 for Ernst and Young (Kuala Lumpur Hockey Club). He emerged as the league top scorer in 2011 season. Chua Boon Huat
Chua Boon Huat (3 May 1980 – 1 August 2013) was a field hockey player from Bukit Cina, Malacca, Malaysia. Boon Huat was one of the longest serving hockey players in Malaysia. Career Club He was with Kuala Lumpur Hockey Club for 10 years and part of 'the double' winners for three consecutive seasons. In April 2002 Boon Huat take up an offer to play in the German League. During his stint, he did not disappoint his club, Red And White Munich. During his three-month stint in Germany, Boon Huat scored seven goals in nine matches, all field goals. In 2005 he joined English Hockey League's Premier Division, Teddington Hockey Club. His last overseas stint was in New Zealand in 2008, when he played for the Auckland club.
