Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships
The Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships are the European championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. They were first held in 1978. The European Championships and the European Junior Championships were united in 1993. Prior to 2006, they were called the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. The competition is organised by the European Union of Gymnastics. Elisa Santoni (born 10 December 1987) is an Italian rhythmic gymnast. Biography One of the veterans of the Italian group, she has competed in 3 Olympic Games, a member of silver medalist group at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and the bronze medal winning group at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She also competed in the Italian Group competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing which finishing 4th in the Group All-around. She was part of the 2010 and 2011 Italian Group that competed at the World Championships that won the Group All-around gold medal. Her teammates also won a pair of bronze medals at the 2012 World Cup Final in 5 Balls and 3 Ribbons + 2 Hoops. Zornitsa Marinova
Zornitsa Marinova ( bg, Зорница Маринова; born 6 January 1987 in Veliko Tarnovo) is a retired Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She represented Bulgaria in two editions of the Olympic Games (2004 and 2008), and also contributed to a fourth-place effort in the group all-around tournament at the 2007 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Patras, Greece. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Marinova claimed a bronze medal in the same program as a member of the Bulgarian gymnastics squad. During her sporting career, Marinova trained for Iliana Gymnastics Club in Levski under her head coach Adriana Dunavska and her assistant coach Mariela Pashalieva.
