2006 Norwegian First Division (women)
The 2006 1. divisjon season (referred to as Adeccoligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norwegian second-tier football season. The season kicked off on April 9, 2006, with eleven rounds being played before the World Cup break on June 5. The league resumed on July 2 and the final round was played on November 5, 2006. Strømsgodset were promoted to the Tippeligaen as First Division winners, along with Aalesund who finished second. Strømsgodset will be playing in the top division for the first time since 2001. Aalesund, meanwhile, return to Tippeligaen after being relegated in 2005. League table Top goalscorers *5 players scored 12 goals. Strømsgodset I
Strømsgodset is a former municipality in Vestfold county (from 1964 Buskerud county), Norway, today a part of the city of Drammen. History Strømsgodset was originally a small rural annex to the city parish of Bragernes (Drammen). But since this annex belonged to the county of Vestfold, while the city belonged to the county of Buskerud, it had to be established as a formannskapsdistrikt of its own January 1, 1838. (The law of ''formannskapsdistrikt'' also required a division between cities and rural districts.) The small size of this ''formannskapsdistrikt'' was, however, a problem - and it had to be merged with the larger municipality of Skoger January 1, 1844. Before the merger Strømsgodset had a population of 731. Skoger (with Strømsgodset) was merged with Drammen January 1, 1964 - and it was then transferred from the county of Vestfold to the county of Buskerud. Fotballklubben Bodø/Glimt () is a Norwegian professional football club from the town of Bodø that currently plays in Eliteserien, the Norwegian top division. The club was founded in 1916 and is frequently referred to by its original club name, "''Glimt''". Bodø/Glimt are the reigning champions in Norway after winning 2021 Eliteserien. They also have won the now defunct Northern Norwegian Cup nine times, Norwegian Cup twice, the Norwegian top division twice, in 2020 and in 2021, and finished second in 1977, 1993, 2003, and 2019. Idrottslaget Hødd is a multi-sports club from Ulsteinvik in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. Founded in 1919, it has sections for team handball, gymnastics and football. Tromsdalen UIL is a Norwegian sports club founded in 1938, from Tromsdalen in the municipality of Tromsø. It has sections for football, athletics, skiing and gymnastics. Løv-Ham Fotball is a football club from Fyllingsdalen in Bergen, Norway. Its origins are two local sports teams in Fyllingsdalen called ''Løvåsen'' and ''Hamre''. On 29 December 1975 those clubs were merged, choosing the name Løv-Ham. In March 1999 Løv-Ham was divided into a football division, Løv-Ham Fotball, and a handball division, Løv-Ham Håndball. Fotballklubben Sparta Sarpsborg is the football department of IL Sparta. Founded in 1928, the club got its present name in 2004.
