LDU Quito
Liga Deportiva Universitaria (), often referred to as Liga de Quito, LDU, is an Ecuadorian professional football club based in Quito. They play in the Serie A, the highest level of the Ecuadorian professional football league. They play their home games at the Estadio Rodrigo Paz Delgado, more commonly referred to as ''Casa Blanca''. Rival clubs include Quito-based clubs El Nacional, Deportivo Quito, Aucas and Universidad Católica. Liga Deportiva Universitaria has its roots in the semi-pro sports teams in 1918 competing as "Universitario" at the Central University of Ecuador, and was officially founded on January 11, 1930. Luis Preti
Luis Humberto Preti Maldonado (born January 2, 1983) is a retired Ecuadorian football goalkeeper. Club career He has spent the majority of his career at LDU Quito as a product of its youth system. Although he began making senior squad appearances in 2002, he saw little playing time as a back-up goalie. He was the second back-up for the squad when it won the 2008 Copa Libertadores. Following the Copa Libertadores, he was traded to another Quito club, Universidad Católica, who at the time were in the top-tier Serie A. He did not see playing time again in 2008. In 2009, he became the starting goalkeeper for the club, which had been relegated from the previous season. Édison Vicente Méndez Méndez (; born March 16, 1979 in Ibarra) is an Ecuadorian football coach and former player who played as either a winger or an attacking midfielder. Pedro Larrea
Pedro Sebastián Larrea Arellano (born May 21, 1986 in Loja) is an Ecuadorian footballer. He plays for Libertad F.C. Club career Larrea has always played for L.D.U. Quito. He plays as a central midfielder and was often used as a starter whenever Patricio Urrutia can't play. He played in the 2008 Copa Sudamericana as a replacement for Urrutia against Boca Juniors. Israel Fernando Chango Jaramillo (born January 16, 1989) is an Ecuadorian footballer. He is a midfielder. He was part of the squad who won the 2008 Copa Libertadores with LDU Quito.
