Krynica-Zdrój
Krynica-Zdrój (until 31 December 2001 Krynica, rue, Крениця, uk, Криниця) is a town in Nowy Sącz County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, southern Poland. It is inhabited by over eleven thousand people. It is the biggest spa town in Poland often called the ''Pearl of Polish Spas''; and a popular tourist and winter sports destination situated in the heart of the Beskids mountain range. History and economy Krynica was first recorded in official documents in 1547 and became a town in 1889. Sebastian Praus
Sebastian Praus (born August 31, 1980 in Dresden) is a German short-track speed-skater. Praus competed at the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics for Germany. In 2006, he finished third in the opening heat of the 1000 metres, but was advanced to the quarterfinals, where he finished third again, failing to advance. In the 1500 metres, he finished fourth in his opening race, not advancing. He also competed in the 5000 metre relay, finishing third in the semifinal and second in the B Final to end up 7th overall. In 2010, he finished third in the opening round o fht e1500 metres, then third in the semifinal, advancing to the B Final. He finished 5th in that race to end up 11th overall. He again raced with the German 5000 metre relay team, which had an identical result, ending up 7th. His best overall finish was in the 2006 1000 metres, when he placed 10th overall. Tatiana Aleksandrovna Borodulina (russian: Татьяна Александровна Бородулина; born 22 December 1984 in Omsk, Russia) is a Russian short-track speed skater, who formerly represented Australia. Career Borodulina competed for Russia at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy. She was a finalist in the 1500m, but was disqualified. Move to Australia Borodulina moved to Australia in 2006, having received a ban from Russian short track for being absent for a doping test. She resided in Sunnybank Hills, Brisbane. Arianna Fontana OMRI (born 14 April 1990) is an Italian short track speed skater, who has won eleven Olympic medals among these two gold medals in the 500m short track, one at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang and the second one at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Evgenia Radanova ( bg, Евгения Раданова; born 4 November 1977) is a Bulgarian female short track speed skater and racing cyclist who has participated in both the Summer and Winter Olympics. She was the world record holder in the 500 m short track distance with 43.671s, which she set in Calgary, Canada on 19 October 2001.
