Copa Constitució 2006 is the fourteenth season of Andorra's football knockout tournament. The competition started on 22 January 2006 with the first round games and ended on 13 May 2006 with the Final. The defending champions are FC Santa Coloma. Results First round The matches were played on 22 January 2006. Second round The matches were played on 5 February 2006. Quarterfinals The ties were played on 7 May 2006. * The tie was awarded 0-3 to FC Santa Coloma as UE Extremenya only turned up with 7 players. Semifinals The ties were played on 10 May 2006. FC Santa Coloma
FC Santa Coloma is an Andorran football team based in the village of Santa Coloma, in the parish of Andorra la Vella. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió, and is its current champion and most successful team with thirteen titles. It is also the most successful team in the Copa Constitució, winning it ten times. History Fútbol Club Santa Coloma was founded in 1986 through the efforts of a group of football enthusiasts who represented the village of the same name that belongs to Andorra la Vella in the National Football Tournament (the former amateur league of Andorra). Later on FC Santa Coloma became one of the founder members of Primera Divisió in 1995. Since 2001 the club has enjoyed a great success in all Andorran competitions standing with all the records in the Premier Andorran League (13) and Andorran Cup (10). Granvalira Encamp
FC Encamp is an Andorran football club based in Encamp. Founded in 1950, it is the oldest football club of the Andorran First Division. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History FC Encamp was founded in 1950 being the dean of the Andorran premier league and the second football club created in the pyrenean country of Andorra after FC Andorra (founded in 1942). Successfully the team won the Primera Divisió in the 1995–96 season, and five years later their second league title (2001–02) qualifying for the UEFA Cup. Next season they ended the regular league in the 2nd position being able to play in the UEFA Intertoto Cup. Although for the 2004/05 season they were relegated to Segona Divisió, the 2nd best division. In 2005–06, they were promoted back to the Primera Divisió. FC Lusitanos, also known as Lusitans, was an Andorran football club from Andorra la Vella which was founded in 1999 and currently play in Segona Divisió. Lusitanos won their first Primera Divisió title in 2011–12 and its second national championship the following season. The club's name, crest and kit reflect its Portuguese identity. Unió Esportiva Sant Julià, also known as UE Sant Julià, is an Andorran football club based in the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History Founded in 1982 UE Sant Julià is the main football club of the Andorran Southern parish of Sant Julià de Lòria. The team have been playing in the top flight since the foundation of the Andorran Premier League in 1995. Atlètic Club d'Escaldes, also commonly known as Atlètic d'Escaldes, is an Andorran football club based in Escaldes-Engordany, currently playing in Primera Divisió. History Atlètic Club d'Escaldes was founded on 20 May 2002 in Escaldes-Engordany joining Segona Divisió the same year. At the end of 2003–04 season the club was promoted to Primera Divisió. During three seasons the club was playing in the top flight until 2006–07 season when it was relegated to Segona Divisió. UE Engordany
Unió Esportiva Engordany is an Andorran football and basketball club based in Escaldes-Engordany. The club football section plays in Primera Divisió. History The club was founded on 2 October 1980 as Unió Esportiva Engordany Futbol Club in the main venue of Engordany by Manuel Puerta Martín, Manuel Varela Valés and Josep Rodríguez Sànchez. On 28 January 1981 the club was established and was later renamed simply as UE Engordany. In 2001 the club was affiliated in the FAF and began competing in the Segona Divisió, being promoted to Primera Divisió in 2003.
