2006 CAF Champions League
The 2006 CAF Champions League was the 42nd edition of the CAF Champions League, the Africa's premier club football tournament prize organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). It was started on 17 February 2006 with a preliminary round. Al Ahly of Egypt defeated CS Sfaxien of Tunisia in the final to win their fifth title and for the second time in a row with a late winner by Mohamed Aboutrika. Police FC (Uganda)
Police FC is a football club from Kampala in Uganda. History They have won their first Ugandan league title in 2005 and the CECAFA Clubs Cup in 2006. Police was spurred on in the early years by Dennis Obua as a player and later as coach. During Obua's years, he managed to stage youthful players who have blossomed into really great talent. When Obua became the Federation of Uganda Football Association president, he hired Steven Mulinde to step in his shoes. Police saw tremendous growth and lately has been involved in several international ties. As of November 2019, the main stadium for Police FC is the Star Times Stadium. Located in the area of Lugogo. East End Lions is a Sierra Leonean professional soccer, football club based in the capital Freetown. They play in the Sierra Leone National Premier League, the top football league in Sierra Leone. The FC Civics Windhoek (Civics) is a Namibian football club based in Windhoek. The Civics play in the highest division of Namibian football, the Namibia Premier League. The club has its home in Khomasdal, in the north of the Namibian capital Windhoek. From 2000 the club is also known as Buschschule Civics. They play their home games at Sam Nujoma Stadium in Katutura, Windhoek.
