2005–06 Jordan League
The 2005–2006 Jordan League was the 54th season of Jordan Premier League, the top-flight league for Jordanian association football clubs. Shabab Al-Ordon won the championship for the first time, while Kfarsoum was relegated and Shabab Al-Hussein were expelled. A total of 10 teams participated. Jordan League
The Jordanian Pro League ( ar, الدوري الأردني للمحترفين) is a Jordanian professional league for men's football clubs and represents the top flight of Jordanian football. The championship consists of twelve competing teams in a home and away league system. The league not held in the years : 1948, 1953, 1957, 1958, 1967, 1968, 1969, and not finished in the 1998 in 2002 the league change calendar to a fall spring season. In 2020 the league return to a spring fall season. Competition format Competition There are 12 clubs in the Premier League. During the course of a season (from March to October) each club plays the others twice (a double round-robin system), once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents', for 22 games. Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. Teams are ranked by total points, then goal difference, and then goals scored. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. History This enterprise, according to its founders, was created in January 1994 by three regulars of the Rec.Sport.Soccer (RSS) Usenet newsgroup: Lars Aarhus, Kent Hedlundh, and Karel Stokkermans. Al-Faisaly Sports Club ( ar, نادي الفيصلي الرياضي) is a professional football club based in Amman, Jordan, that competes in the Jordanian Pro League, the top flight of Jordanian football. Nicknamed "the Blue Eagles", they were founded as Al-Ashbal Club in 1932. They are considered the most successful football club in the country and one of the most successful in the region, having won 83 official titles, 35 league titles, 21 Jordan FA Cups and 17 Jordan Super Cups, being the record holder for all these competitions, eight Jordan FA Shields and two AFC Cups. Ar Ramtha
Ar-Ramtha ( ar, الرَّمثا, ar-Ramṯā), colloquially transliterated as Ar-Romtha ( ar, الرُّمثا, ar-Rumṯā), is a city situated in the far northwest of Jordan near the Jordan–Syria border, border with Syria.
