2005–06 Divizia D
The 2005–06 Divizia D was the 64th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a play-off match played on a neutral venue. The winners of the play-off matches promoted to 2006–07 Liga III. Liga IV
Liga IV is the fourth level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia D into Liga IV before the start of play for the 2006–07 season. Current format Liga IV has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays. In Romania the most frequently used system is one division with matches played home and away. A number of associations prefer 2 or even 4 parallel divisions with the teams finishing first meeting in a play-off to decide the champion. The number of teams differ from one county association to another. The Mureș County association has the fewest teams, 8, which play in a Scottish system, playing 4 times against one another. Liga IV Brăila is the county association football, football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Brăila County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 11 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series. ACS Victoria Tecuci
Asociația Club Sportiv Victoria Tecuci, commonly known as Victoria Tecuci, was a Romanian football club based in Tecuci, Romania. The club was created in 1954 and last time dissolved in 2021. History The first football match in Tecuci was played in 1926, that match also being the first match played under the floodlights and was played between ''Armata Tecuci'' and ''Armata București''. A.C.S Victoria Tecuci was founded under the name ''Voința Tecuci'' in 1954 and was the first football team from Tecuci that has ever played in a national competition.
