The 2005 Women's Hockey Champions Challenge was the third edition of the field hockey championship for women. It was held in Virginia Beach, United States from July 8–16, 2005. New Zealand participate in 2006 Champions Trophy in Amstelveen, Netherlands after defeated South Africa in the final. Helen Richardson (field Hockey)
Helen Richardson-Walsh, (''née'' Richardson, born 23 September 1981) is an English hockey player who plays as a midfielder. She has been a member of both the England and the Great Britain women's field hockey teams since 1999, and was a member of the Great Britain team that won gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Early life Helen Richardson was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire and grew up in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire with her 3 older brothers. She began playing hockey at a young age, joining West Bridgford Hockey Club at the age of seven. Becky Duggan
Rebecca Waters (née Duggan; born 10 June 1983) is an English field hockey goalkeeper. She made her senior international debut for the England women's national field hockey team on 19 April 2003 and made one appearance for the Great Britain national women's field hockey team, against South Africa on 10 January 2007. Duggan was also a footballer and played outfield for several teams in the FA Women's Premier League Southern Division. She joined Charlton Athletic from Fulham in December 2009. Cathy Gilliat-Smith
Cathy Gilliat-Smith (born 19 March 1981, also known as Cath Nicholson) is an English international field hockey player who played as a forward for England and Great Britain, achieving 64 international caps. She currently plays club hockey in the Investec Women's Hockey League Premier Division for East Grinstead. Personal life Cathy Gilliat-Smith was born in Sevenoaks, Kent and attended Tonbridge Grammar School between 1992 and 2000, after which she attended Loughborough University, graduating with a degree in sports science in 2004. Sally Ellen Walton (born 10 June 1981) is a former British field hockey player, a personal trainer and currently coaching Hockey at the Royal Grammar School Worcester, moving there from Solihull school Walton made her international debut in 2005. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed for the Great Britain in the women's tournament helping them to win the bronze medal.
