2005 Santos FC Season
The 2005 season was Santos Futebol Clube's ninety-third season in existence and the club's forty-sixth consecutive season in the top flight of Brazilian football. In July, Spanish giants Real Madrid signed Robinho by agreeing to pay a fee equal to 60 percent of the buyout clause in his contract belonging to Santos (€24). After the sold, the club didn't kept the great results of the last years, and they ended in the 10th position in Campeonato Brasileiro. Santos Futebol Clube (), commonly known simply as Santos or Santos FC and nicknamed the ''Peixe'' (; "fish"), is a Brazilian sports club based in Vila Belmiro, a '' bairro'' in the city of Santos. It is also the team with the most goals in football history. It plays in the ''Paulistão'', the State of São Paulo's premier state league, as well as the ''Brasileirão'', the top tier of the Brazilian football league system. The club was founded in 1912 by the initiative of three sports enthusiasts from Santos by Raimundo Marques, Mário Ferraz de Campos, and Argemiro de Souza Júnior as a response to the lack of representation the city had in football. Juan Carlos Henao
Juan Carlos Henao Valencia, usually known as Juan Carlos Henao (born December 30, 1971), is a Colombian retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career As Once Caldas goalkeeper, in 2003, he won the Colombian Torneo Apertura, and in 2004, he won the Copa Libertadores and was runner-up of the Intercontinental Cup. He has been capped nine times for the Colombia national team. In 2004, Henao finished in the fifth place in the Uruguayan El Pais' South American Player of the Year award, after collecting 32 votes, and in the eighth place in IFFHS's World's Best Goalkeeper, with 29 points, tied with Portuguese goalkeeper Vítor Baía. Ricardo Bóvio de Souza (born January 17, 1982), known as Ricardo Bóvio, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder.
