2005 OFC U-20 Championship
The 2005 OFC U-20 Championship was the fifteenth contested. It was won by Australia who qualified for the 2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup after a 3–0 victory against the Solomon Islands played at Lawson Tama Stadium in Honiara, Solomon Islands. The final game was abandoned in the 77th minute due to crowd trouble, however the score was allowed to stand. Mark Bridge
Mark Robert Bridge (born 7 November 1985) is an Australian professional football (soccer) player who plays as a striker for NPL club Mounties Wanderers. Bridge is the Western Sydney Wanderers' first ever goalscorer, earning himself the nickname 'King Bridge' among fans. Melbourne Victory Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Melbourne, Victoria. Chesterfield Football Club is an English professional association football club based in the town of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. The team competes in the National League, the fifth tier of the English football league system. Aaron Downes
Aaron Terence Downes (born 15 May 1985) is a former Australian soccer player who played as a defender. He is currently assistant manager at Torquay United. Justin Pasfield
Justin Pasfield (born 30 May 1985) is an Australian professional goalkeeper who last played for Wollongong Wolves in the National Premier Leagues NSW. He was part of the Joeys squad for the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship in the Netherlands, and previously played for Bray Wanderers in the League of Ireland, Wollongong Wolves in the National Soccer League and Central Coast Mariners in the A-League. Club career Pasfield was understudy to Clint Bolton at Sydney FC in the A-League during the 2005–06 and 2006–07 seasons, but failed to take the pitch in a competitive match. Chris Tadrosse (born 10 September 1985) is an Australian footballer who plays for Bonnyrigg White Eagles. Club career He was part of Melbourne Victory's squad in the A-League, but was allowed to leave late in the club's inaugural year; having failed to make a real impact in his limited appearances and Melbourne having to rebuild after an unsuccessful season. The first stop on his German adventure was with Oberliga Nordrhein league club KFC Uerdingen 05. After a short stay he moved to Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach. He made several appearances for the club's second team but was released at the end of the 2007–08 season. Kristian Ronald Sarkies (born 25 October 1986 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian footballer who plays for Beaumaris SC in the Victorian State League 1. He grew up in Dingley Village, a suburb in Melbourne's South-East 10 kilometres from his current club in Beaumaris. Marconi Stallions
Marconi Stallions Football Club is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in Fairfield, Sydney, New South Wales. The club has been crowned Australian champion four times. The Stallions are the soccer team of Club Marconi, a social and sporting club founded in 1958 by immigrants from Italy who settled in Sydney's western suburbs. Perth Glory Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Perth, Western Australia. It competes in the country's premier men's competition, A-League Men, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues. Blagoja "Billy" Celeski (born 14 July 1985) is a retired Macedonian-born Australian footballer. He last played as a midfielder for Ventforet Kofu in the J1 League in 2016. Club career Celeski signed for Perth Glory for the 2005–06 A-League season from Bullen Zebras playing 18 times and won the club's media award, but was released at the end of the season. Vince Lia
Vince Lia (born 18 March 1985) is an Australian professional football (soccer) player who plays for Altona Magic in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. Born in Shepparton, Lia played youth football in Victoria before making his senior debut with South Melbourne in the National Soccer League. He spent one season with Fawkner-Whittlesea Blues in 2005 before joining Melbourne Victory in 2005 to play in the newly-formed A-League.
