Sydney Town Hall
The Sydney Town Hall is a late 19th-century heritage-listed town hall building in the city of Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales, Australia, housing the chambers of the Lord Mayor of Sydney, council offices, and venues for meetings and functions. Norm Provan
Norman Douglas Somerville Provan (18 December 1932 – 13 October 2021) was an Australian professional rugby league footballer and coach. Also nicknamed "Sticks", he was a second-row forward with the St George Dragons during the first ten of their eleven consecutive premiership-winning years, from 1956 to 1966. Named amongst the nation's finest footballers of the 20th century, he was a representative in the Australia national team from 1954 to 1960, earning 14 Tests and two World Cups. Greg Inglis
Gregory Paul Inglis (born 15 January 1987), also known by the nickname of "G.I.", is a retired Australian professional rugby league footballer. His regular playing positions were Centre, Fullback, Five-eighth and Wing. From 2011 to 2019 he played in the NRL for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, with whom he won a premiership in 2014. Yileen Gordon
Yileen "Buddy" Gordon (also known as Yilleen Gordon) (born 3 April 1987) is an Australian rugby league footballer who plays for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the Canterbury Cup NSW. Gordon formerly played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Penrith Panthers. He was sacked by the West Tigers in February, 2014 for breach of contract. Leon Bott
Leon Bott (born 19 October 1986 in Canterbury, New South Wales) is an Australian former professional rugby league and union footballer. Early years Bott attended Lurnea Public School, Lurnea High School, Moorebank High School and Westfield Sports High School, making the Australian Schoolboys rugby union team in 2003 & 2004. Career Brisbane Broncos Bott made his debut in the National Rugby League in the 2005 season playing for the Brisbane Broncos, the club he followed as a boy. He signed with the Brisbane Broncos for a reported A$20,000 a year and reportedly turned down a contract from the Sydney Roosters worth around A$350,000 a year. Timothy Aiden Smith (born 13 January 1985) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. He previously played for Super League clubs Wigan Warriors and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (twice) ( Heritage No. 1308), and Salford Red Devils, and in Australia for the Parramatta Eels and the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks of the National Rugby Leaguen the NRL. Jim Leis (born October 10, 1959) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s. Playing career A New South Wales representative forward, he played in the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition for Western Suburbs for three seasons between 1980 and 1982, Canterbury-Bankstown for three seasons between 1983–1985 and the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks for two seasons between 1986 and 1987. In his debut first-grade season, Leis was selected to represent New South Wales in the 2nd state of residence game, and kept his place at for the inaugural State of Origin game in 1980. In the same year he was selected to tour New Zealand with the Australian national team although he did not play in a test, and earned two Dally M awards in 1980 for lock-forward of the year and rookie of the year. Wests Tigers
The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional Rugby league, rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. They have competed in the National Rugby League since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. Lockyer was an Australian international and Queensland State representative captain, who played his entire professional career with the Brisbane Broncos.
