2005 California Wildfires
The 2005 California wildfires were a series of wildfires that were active in the state of California during the year 2005. In total, there were 7,162 fires that burned of land. Fires Below is a list of all fires that exceeded during the 2005 fire season. The list is taken from CAL FIRE's list of large fires. Labor Day brush fire On Labor Day Monday, September 5, 2005, a small brush fire erupted and burned parts of Rancho Peñasquitos and Black Mountain Open Space Park. The wildfire quickly grew to , and triggered the evacuation of 200 homes in Rancho Peñasquitos, before further growth was stopped by firefighters. The fire was fully extinguished by September 7. The Topanga Fire was a wildfire that ignited on September 28, 2005, in the Santa Susana Mountains, to the northwest of Chatsworth and the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. Cowpie Fire
Cow dung, also known as cow pats, cow pies or cow manure, is the waste product ( faeces) of bovine animal species. These species include domestic cattle ("cows"), bison ("buffalo"), yak, and water buffalo. Cow dung is the undigested residue of plant matter which has passed through the animal's gut. The resultant faecal matter is rich in minerals. Color ranges from greenish to blackish, often darkening soon after exposure to air.
