2005 CONCACAF U-20 Tournament
The 2005 CONCACAF U-20 Qualifying Tournament was held to determine the four CONCACAF entrants into the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship, which was hosted by the Netherlands. The tournament final was held in two groups of four with the top two from each group advancing. Group A was held in United States and Group B was held in Honduras. On January 16, 2005, the United States and Panama qualified to the U-20 World Cup. On January 30, 2005, Canada and Honduras achieved qualification. Ryan Gyaki
Ryan Gyaki (born 6 December 1985) is a Canadian former professional soccer player and professional soccer coach. He was last signed with FC Hansa Rostock in Germany. Currently, he is the head coach of the Mount Royal University men's soccer team in Calgary, Canada, called The Cougars. Awarded "Canadian U20 player of the Year" in 2005, Gyaki was a creative midfielder who usually played in a  forward playmaking role as an attacking midfielder. He represented the Canada national team in 2005 as captain of the U20 soccer team. Gyaki, a former standout in the Calgary youth soccer scene, made his transition to the professional ranks at only 17 years old. He played for Sheffield United F.C. in England, before a knee injury sidelined him for the remaining part of the season. The following season, he signed a contract with F.C. Jacob Peterson (born January 27, 1986) is an American former professional soccer player who last played with Atlanta United FC in Major League Soccer. Career College and amateur Peterson played youth soccer for local powerhouse Michigan Wolves, whom he led to four state championships, two midwest regional championships, and a third-place finish at the nationals, He played college soccer at Indiana University for three years from 2003 to 2005 where he scored 30 goals in 71 appearances. Franklin Chacón Orozco (born 18 June 1985) is a Costa Rican footballer who currently plays for Puntarenas. Career Chacón began his career in the youth ranks of Herediano before moving to the United States to join Seattle Sounders on a year-long loan. During his stint there, he made 12 appearances and recorded his only point of the year on June 4, 2005 in a 2-1 away win over Virginia Beach Mariners. Kendall Jagdeosingh (born May 30, 1986 in Manzanilla) is a Trinidadian footballer who currently plays for Ayutthaya in Thai League 3 Career Club Jagdeosingh began his career in his native Trinidad, playing four seasons for North East Stars and Caledonia AIA in the TT Pro League. Jagdeosingh joined the Puerto Rico Islanders in the USL First Division in 2007.
