	2005 CARIFTA Games The 34th CARIFTA Games was held in the Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet, Tobago on March 26–28, 2005. The event was relocated from the National Stadium, St. George's, Grenada, because of the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan destroying 90 percent of the island's houses. An appraisal of the results has been given. Participation (unofficial) Detailed result lists can be found on the CACAC, the CFPI and the "World Junior Athletics History" website. 	Bacolet Bacolet is a town and suburb in the city of Scarborough on the island of Tobago, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The town itself lies beneath Fort King George at the Bacolet Bay, just outside the city center to the south-east of the island's capital. 	CARIFTA Games The CARIFTA Games is an annual athletics competition founded by the Caribbean Free Trade Association (CARIFTA). The games was first held in 1972 and consists of track and field events including sprint races, hurdles, middle distance track events, jumping and throwing events, and relays. The Games has two age categories: under-17 (under-18 until 2017) and under-20. Only countries associated with CARIFTA may compete in the competition.
