2005 Adeccoligaen
The 2005 1. divisjon (referred to as Adeccoligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norwegian second-tier football season. The season kicked off on 10 April 2005, and the final round was played on 30 October 2005. Stabæk were promoted to the 2006 Tippeligaen as First Division winners, along with Sandefjord who finished second. Sandefjord will be playing in the top division for the first time while Stabæk return to Tippeligaen after being relegated in 2004. As in previous years, there was a two-legged promotion playoff at the end of the season, between the third-placed team in the 1. divisjon (Moss) and the twelfth-placed team in the Tippeligaen (Molde). Molde kept their spot in the Tippeligaen, after beating Moss 5–2 on aggregate. Mandalskameratene, Skeid, Tønsberg and Alta were relegated to the 2006 2. divisjon at the end of the season. 2005 In Norwegian Football
The 2005 season was the 100th season of competitive football in Norway. Men's football League season Tippeligaen Vålerenga won the 2005 Tippeligaen, while Aalesunds FK and FK Bodø/Glimt were relegated. Molde FK had to play two qualification matches against Moss from the 1. divisjon. Molde won the qualification matches and maintained their position in Tippeligaen. The greatest surprises of the 2005 season were the great performance of IK Start, promoted to the Tippeligaen in the 2004 season and ended up winning silver, and the disappointing performance of Rosenborg BK which fought against relegation from the Tippeligaen after winning it for 13 straight seasons. Moss FK
Moss Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club, founded on 28 August 1906. They play in the 2. divisjon, the third highest division in the Norwegian football league system. They played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937-1939, 1953-1954, 1977-1985 (9 seasons), 1987-1990 (4 seasons), 1996 and 1998-2002. The club came close to earning promotion to the top flight in 2005, but lost the play-off against Molde. Stadium Moss play their home games at Melløs stadion, which has a capacity of around 10,000. Because of national rules of professional license for top clubs in Norway, the stadium has only been certified for 3,085 spectators. Built in 1939, it has remained the club's home ground ever since. The record attendance is 10,085, set in 2003 against rivals Fredrikstad. A higher attendance may have been achieved in 1976 in a match against Odd, but no precise figure exists for this match because the gates broke down after around 9500 spectators had shown up. Tromsdalen UIL
Tromsdalen UIL is a Norwegian sports club founded in 1938, from Tromsdalen in the municipality of Tromsø. It has sections for football, athletics, skiing and gymnastics. The men's football team plays in 2. divisjon, the third level in Norwegian football. Their home games are played at Tromsdalen Stadion, which seats 3,000 spectators. Their colors are red and blue. Raufoss IL
Raufoss IL is a sports club from Raufoss, Norway. The club was formed in 1918. The football section played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937–1948, between 1957–1960, in 1964 and between 1973–1974. The club currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Since 2015, they have played their home games at Nammo Stadion. In 2007 Raufoss returned to the 1. divisjon and were able to finish in eleventh place, after being relegated from the second tier in 2004. However, due to financial problems and failure to meet demands on infrastructure, the Football Association of Norway decided not to award Raufoss the required license for play in the top two divisions. The 2004 Tippeligaen was the 60th completed season of top division football in Norway. The season began on 12 April 2004 and ended on 30 October 2004. Each team played 26 games with three points given for wins and one point for a draw. Number thirteen and fourteen are relegated, number twelve has to play two qualification matches (home and away) against number three in the first division (where number one and two are directly promoted) for the last spot. The 2005 Tippeligaen was the 61st completed season of top division football in Norway. The season began on 10 April 2005, and was concluded with the last of 26 rounds played on 29 October. 3 points were given for wins and 1 for draws. Vålerenga, the winner of this year's season entered the second round of next year's Champions League qualification, while the runners-up ( Start), number 3 ( Lyn) and the Norwegian Cup winners enter the UEFA Cup qualification round. The top four teams qualified for the 2004–05 Royal League. 1,726,145 people attended the matches, a new record for the Tippeligaen and 300,000 more than the previous year. Aalesunds Fotballklubb, commonly known as Aalesund or AaFK, is a Norwegian football club from the town of Ålesund, that competes in the Eliteserien, the first tier of the Norwegian football league system.
