The Lithuanian A Lyga 2005 was the 16th season of top-tier football in Lithuania. The season started on 12 April 2005 and ended on 12 November 2005. 10 teams participated with Ekranas winning the championship. A Lyga
The A Lyga is the top division of professional football in Lithuania. The A Lyga is an abbreviation of Aukščiausia lyga meaning Highest League. It is organized by Lithuanian Football Federation LFF ( lt, Lietuvos Futbolo Federacija). The Aukščiausia lyga also existed during the Soviet period of Lithuania, but was not considered to be a professional league until dissolution of the Soviet Union. The league size has varied between 8 and 12 teams in the recent seasons, however 2020 A Lyga the league featured record low of only 6 teams. But in the latest 2021 A Lyga season there were 10 teams. The final list of participants often does not correlate to the final results of the previous season, as the participation is finalized through the Lithuanian Football Federation league licensing process. Kristiansund Fotballklubb is a Norwegian association football club from Kristiansund, Møre og Romsdal. The men's football team currently plays in the Fourth Division, the fifth tier of the Norwegian football league system. The team last played in the 1. divisjon (second tier) in 1991 and in the 2. divisjon (third tier) in 1998. In 2000, they won their 3. divisjon group but lost the two-legged play-off and failed to win promotion. In the autumn of 2003 it formed a partnership with rivals Clausenengen FK to field the team Kristiansund BK. Kristiansund BK is currently a Norwegian Eliteserien club.
