2004–05 USM Alger Season
In the 2004–05 season, USM Alger competed in the Division 1 for the 25th time, as well as the Algerian Cup. It was their 10th consecutive season in the top flight of Algerian football. They were competing in Ligue 1, the CAF Champions League and the Algerian Cup. Summary season Since everything has an end, 2004–05 was for Usmistes the end of an era that has long been dreaming all lovers of the club. The fifth league title was won under the leadership of Mustapha Aksouh it is the last title for Saïd Allik as a president. Union Sportive de la Médina d'Alger ( ar, الإتحاد الرياضي لمدينة الجزائر); known as USM Alger or simply USMA for short, is a football club based in the inner suburbs of Algiers. The club was founded in 1937 and its colours are red and black. Their home stadium, Omar Hamadi Stadium, has a capacity of 10,000 spectators. Merouane Abdouni
Merouane Abdouni (born March 27, 1981) is a retired Algerian goalkeeper who played for USM El Harrach, USM Alger, MC Alger and USM Blida. Biography Abdouni began his playing career at USM El Harrach and made his first team debut in the 1999/2000 in the Algerian second division. That same season, he helped the team gain promotion to the top flight, although they would get relegated just one year later. He stayed another season before signing with USM Alger in the summer of 2002. With USM Alger, he played a key role in the teams 2003 African Champions League run, where the team was eliminated in the semi-final's to eventual champions Enyimba FC of Nigeria. Michael Eneramo (born 26 November 1985) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Eneramo began his career with Lobi Stars and was in 2004 scouted by Tunisian top club Espérance Sportive de Tunis, he was then loaned to USM Alger from 2004 through 2006, where he scored 13 goals in the Algerian Championnat National.
