2004 Taça De Portugal Final
The 2004 Taça de Portugal Final was the final match of the 2003–04 Taça de Portugal, the 64th season of the Taça de Portugal, the premier Portuguese football cup competition organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The match was played on 16 May 2004 at the Estádio Nacional in Oeiras, and opposed two Primeira Liga sides: Benfica and Porto. Benfica defeated Porto 2–1, thanks to an extra-time goal from Portuguese winger Simão after the match had ended 1–1. Benfica players dedicated the trophy to Miklós Fehér. In Portugal, the final was televised live on TVI and Sport TV. 2003–04 Taça De Portugal
The 2003–04 Taça de Portugal was the 64th edition of the Portuguese football knockout tournament, organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). This edition of the Taça de Portugal began on 7 September 2003, and concluded on 16 May 2004 with the final at the Estádio Nacional. Porto were the previous holders, having defeated União de Leiria 1–0 in the previous season's final. Benfica defeated Porto, 2–1 in the final to win their twenty fourth Taça de Portugal, dedicated to Miklós Fehér. Luís Miguel Brito Garcia Monteiro (born 4 January 1980), simply known as Miguel (), is a former Portuguese professional footballer who played mainly as a right-back or a winger. Tiago Cardoso Mendes (; born 2 May 1981), known simply as Tiago, is a Portuguese football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Armando Gonçalves Teixeira (; born 25 September 1976), known as Petit, is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He is currently the manager of Boavista. He received the moniker ''Petit'' because of his small frame, and also because he was born in France. Ânderson Luís da Silva (born 13 February 1981), known as Luisão, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Armando Miguel Correia de Sá (born 16 September 1975) is a Mozambican football manager and former player who serves as assistant coach of Canadian club Pacific FC. As a player, he played mainly as a right back. He also held a Portuguese passport, and played professionally in four countries in a 16-year professional career: Portugal (six teams, including a two-and-a-half-year spell with Benfica), Spain, England (five months with Leeds United) and Iran. José Filipe da Silva Moreira (born 20 March 1982) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
