2004 Nationwide Tour
The 2004 Nationwide Tour season ran from February 5 to October 31. The season consisted of 31 official money golf tournaments; five of which were played outside of the United States. The top 20 players on the year-end money list earned their PGA Tour card for 2005. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2004 season. Daniel Chopra
Daniel Samir Chopra (born 23 December 1973) is a Swedish professional golfer. Chopra was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He represents Sweden and his mother was Swedish, but his father was Indian and Daniel moved to India at age seven where he was raised by his grandparents. He won the All-India Junior Golf Championship at age 14. Chopra turned professional in 1992. From 1996 to 2002 he played intermittently on the European Tour, sometimes failing to retain his tour card, and in 2004 he joined the U.S.-based PGA Tour. In 2007 he won his first PGA Tour event at the Ginn sur Mer Classic at Tesoro. Two PGA Tour events later he picked up another win at the season opening Mercedes-Benz Championship. After his second PGA Tour win, Chopra's career started to fluctuate between the PGA Tour and second-tier (what was then) Nationwide Tour. Christopher Michael Anderson (born December 11, 1970) is an American professional golfer. Anderson was born in West Covina, California. He attended Mt. San Antonio College, a community college in Walnut, California. He turned professional in 1992. Anderson played on the Canadian Tour (1996–97, 1999–2002), Nationwide Tour (1998, 2004, 2006–09), and PGA Tour (2003, 2005). He won once on the Nationwide Tour at the 2004 SAS Carolina Classic. Justin Bolli (born March 18, 1976) is an American professional golfer. who has played on the PGA Tour and the Web.com Tour. Bolli was born in Portland, Oregon. Bolli started playing on the Nationwide Tour (now Web.com Tour) full-time in 2004 and moved up to the PGA Tour in 2005. In his rookie season on the PGA Tour, he only made 9 of 24 cuts with his best finish being tied for 17th at the Southern Farm Bureau Classic. He moved back to the Nationwide Tour in 2006. He finished in 8th place on the Nationwide Tour's money list in 2007 to earn his PGA Tour card for 2008. Ryuji Imada
is a U.S.-based Japanese professional golfer. Imada was born in Mihara, Hiroshima, Japan. He came to the United States when he was 14 to attend a Tampa golf academy for Asian players. His instructor was (and still is) Richard Abele, who became his legal guardian. Under Abele's teaching, he won several of the top tournaments on the amateur circuit and reached the final of the 1997 U.S. Amateur Public Links. His accomplishments in the American Junior Golf Association led to a scholarship to University of Georgia, where he played for two years and helped the Bulldogs win the 1999 NCAA title. The BMW Charity Pro-Am is a golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour. It is currently played at Thornblade Club (host course) in Greer, South Carolina and The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Franklin Langham
Franklin Langham (born May 8, 1968) is an American professional golfer. Langham was born in Thomson, Georgia. He played golf at the University of Georgia from 1989 to 1991 and was named an All-American in 1991. He played on the 1991 Walker Cup team. Langham played on the PGA Tour in 1996, 1998-2002 and 2005 and on the Nationwide Tour in 1993-95, 1997, 2003–04 and 2006–08.
