Fame Factory

Big Brother Sverige
''Big Brother'' or ''Big Brother Sverige'' was the Swedish version of the reality television franchise '' Big Brother'' created by producer John de Mol in 1999. The show followed a number of contestants, known as housemates, who are isolated from the outside world for an extended period of time in a custom-built house. Each week, one of the housemates is evicted by a public vote, with the last housemate remaining winning a cash prize. The show was aired in 2000 and again from 2002 to 2004 on Kanal 5, from 2011 to 2012 on TV11, Kanal 11 on 2015 and finally on Sjuan from 2020 to 2021. ''Idol'' is a Sweden, Swedish reality-competition talent show broadcast on TV4 (Sweden), TV4. It first appeared in August 2004, and became one of the most popular shows on Swedish television. Part of the Idols (TV series), ''Idols'' franchise, it originated from the reality program ''Pop Idol'' created by British people, British entertainment executive Simon Fuller, which was first aired in 2001 in the United Kingdom. The program seeks to discover the best singer in Sweden through a series of nationwide auditions. The outcomes of the later stages of the competition are determined by public phone voting. The format features three judges who give critiques of the contestants' performances. Since ''Idol'' started in 2004, the show has featured five different line-ups of judges, a total of nine different judges, as well as twelve different presenters (including sidekicks in 2011 and 2013). ''Pop Idol'' is a British music competition television series created by Simon Fuller which ran on ITV from 2001 to 2003. The aim of the show was to decide the best new young pop singer (or "pop idol") in the UK based on viewer voting and participation. Two series were broadcast, one in 2001–2002 and a second in 2003. An immense success when it launched in 2001, Maggie Brown in ''The Guardian'' wrote, "the show became a seminal reality/entertainment format once on air that autumn". TV4 (Sweden)
TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. The two channels of Sveriges Television (SVT) lost more and more viewers for a couple of years. After making schedule changes in 2001, SVT1 had practically the same numbers of viewers as TV4. From 2004 to 2019, the TV4 Group was a fully active member of the European Broadcasting Union. History TV4 was launched on 15 September 1990. The channel invested in an extensive news organisation and Swedish drama series. The premiere suffered from technical faults and the drama series weren't popular with critics. Daniel Lindström
Daniel Lindström (born 30 January 1978) is a Swedish singer from Umeå who won the Idol (Swedish TV series) 2004, Swedish Idol 2004 contest against Darin Zanyar. His first single, "Coming True", sold double platinum, and his self-titled album, released in December 2004, topped the Swedish pop charts. The second album ''Nån slags verklighet'' (''Some kind of reality'') contains songs written in Swedish by the singer himself. His third album, ''D-Day'', was released in January 2009. For a time, he lived with his wife and child in Solna Municipality, Solna, Sweden. In October 2009, Lindström and other Idol contestants convened for a panel at CMJ in New York City, to discuss their experiences and the current state of music. The first season of Sweden's ''Idol'' premiered in August 2004 and continued until its grand finale on 26 November, when 26-year-old Daniel Lindström from Umeå was crowned winner. Auditions Auditions were held in the Swedish cities of Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Umeå and Karlstad during the spring of 2004.
