The 2004 ICC Americas Championship was a cricket tournament in Bermuda, taking place between 6 July and 16 July 2004. It gave six North and South American Associate and Affiliate members of the International Cricket Council experience of international one-day cricket. Americas Cricket Association
ICC Americas is an international body which oversees cricket in countries in the Americas. It is a subordinate body to the International Cricket Council (ICC). The organisation currently has 17 members, located in Northern America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, and is responsible for the development, promotion and administration of the game in the above regions. ICC Americas oversees the regional qualification tournaments for the Cricket World Cup, the Women's Cricket World Cup, the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, and the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Previously it ran the ICC Americas Championship as the premier international competition in the region. Andrew Ford (cricketer)
Andrew Robert Ford (born 20 September 1963) is a former Bahamian cricketer. Ford is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium pace. He represented the Bahamas national cricket team in 20 matches. Ford made his debut for the Bahamas in the 2004 Americas Affiliates Championship against the Turks and Caicos Islands. Ford made his Twenty20 debut for the Bahamas in the 1st round of the 2008 Stanford 20/20 against Jamaica. Ian Shaw Billcliff (born 26 October 1972) is a Canadian cricketer. Though born in Canada, he grew up in New Zealand. Billcliff made his debut in first-class cricket in 1991 for Otago in New Zealand domestic cricket, and in 1992 he played twice for the New Zealand Under-19 team. He later played for Wellington from 1995 to 1997, and then for Auckland from 1997 to 1999. After leaving Auckland, he played club cricket in England in the Surrey League. Ashish Bagai (born 26 January 1982) is the former captain of the Canadian cricket team. He is a right-handed batsman who specialises as a wicketkeeper. Clay James Smith (born 15 January 1971) is a former Bermudian international cricketer who represented the Bermudian national team between 1991 and 2007. He also coached the team from 2015 to 2018. Having debuted for Bermuda in 1991, Smith first came to notice at the 1994 ICC Trophy in Kenya, where he ranked fourth in overall runs scored and helped his team to the semi-finals. He remained one of Bermuda's leading batsmen for over a decade, appearing in another three ICC Trophy tournaments and also in several editions of the West Indian domestic one-day competition (where Bermuda competed as a guest team). Steven Devonne Outerbridge (born 20 May 1983) is a Bermudian cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. Saleem Mukuddem (born 20 January 1972) is a former South African born Bermudian cricketer who played twenty One Day Internationals for the Bermuda national cricket team. Russell Dwayne Mark Leverock (born 14 July 1971) is a former Bermudian cricketer. Living above an Indian restaurant in Bermuda, Leverock is a jailer. At the 2007 Cricket World Cup he was the largest player to grace the pitch, weighing in at 20 stone (280 pounds or 127 kg). However he is not regarded as the heaviest man to ever play in international cricket.
