2004 European Canoe Slalom Championships
The 2004 European Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Skopje, Macedonia between June 4 and 6, 2004 under the auspices of the European Canoe Association (ECA). It was the 5th edition. The competitors took part in 8 events, but medals were awarded for only 6 of them. The C2 team event and the K1 women's team event only had 4 teams participating. An event must have at least 5 nations taking part in order to count as a medal event.Differences in the Competition Rules Between ECA and ICF Championships

Martin Braud (born 6 January 1982 in Angoulême) is a French slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1998 to 2008. Career Braud won a silver medal in the C2 team event at the 2007 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships. He also won five medals at the European Championships (1 gold, 3 silvers and 1 bronze). Sławomir Mordarski (born 4 January 1979 in Nowy Sącz) is a Polish slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1994 to 2006. He won three medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold (C1 team: 1999) and two bronzes (C2 team: 2002, 2003).
