2004 Cork Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship
The 2004 Cork Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship was the inaugural staging of the Cork Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board. The draw for the opening round fixtures took place on 10 February 2004. The championship began on 30 April 2004 and ended on 31 October 2004. On 31 October 2004, St. Catherine's won the championship following a 1-11 to 1-8 defeat of Courcey Rovers in the final. This remains their only championship title in the grade. Mallow's Pa Dineen was the championship's top scorer with 3-25. Tracton GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parish of Tracton in Cork, Republic of Ireland. The club is a member of the Carrigdhoun division of Cork GAA. The club fields teams in both Gaelic football and hurling, though it has won most success in hurling. The club's pitch is in the village of Minane Bridge. History The club was founded in 1888, only 4 years after the foundation of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The pitch located at Ahane in Minane Bridge has been Tracton's permanent home since 1973. Dressing rooms were erected and a clubhouse consisting of a concert hall and meeting rooms was completed in 1978. Páirc Uí Rinn (), also known as Páirc Chríostóir Uí Rinn, is a Gaelic Athletic Association stadium located between Ballinlough and Ballintemple in Cork. It was previously known as Flower Lodge and was used as an association football stadium. Ballyhea GAA
Ballyhea GAA is a hurling club in the village of Ballyhea in Cork, Ireland. The club is affiliated to the Avondhu, division of Cork GAA. As of 2015, the club was competing in the Cork Senior Hurling Championship. It does not field Gaelic football teams. History Ballyhea GAA Club has been in existence for over 126 years. The history of the club published in 1984 say the first GAA meeting took place in Jim Powers's Forge in the townland of Pruntas in late 1885 or early 1886. Ballinhassig is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Ballinhassig in County Cork, Republic of Ireland. The club was founded in 1886, and now plays Hurling at Premier Intermediate level, having won the Cork Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship in 2005, and the Cork Junior Hurling Championship in 2002.
