Regular Season
In an organized sports league, a typical season is the portion of one year in which regulated games of the sport are in session: for example, in Major League Baseball the season lasts approximately from the last week of March to the last week of September. Ville Peltonen
Ville Sakari Peltonen (born 24 May 1973) is a Finnish ice hockey coach and a former professional ice hockey forward. Peltonen was drafted by the San Jose Sharks as their third round pick, 58th overall, in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. During his professional career, he has played 382 NHL games for Sharks, Nashville Predators and Florida Panthers. Playing career Peltonen started playing hockey with Etelä-Vantaan Urheilijat (EVU), and moved to HIFK when he was ten years old. He debuted the Finnish SM-liiga in 1991–92 SM-liiga season, playing six games in regular season. The following year, Peltonen scored 13 goals and 37 points in 46 games with HIFK winning the Jarmo Wasama memorial trophy as the best rookie of the season. Yves Sarault
Yves Victor Sarault (born December 23, 1972) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and coach. He played 106 games in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens, Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche, Ottawa Senators, Atlanta Thrashers and the Nashville Predators between 1995 and 2001. He is currently serving as the Head Coach of the SCL Tigers in the National League (NL). Playing career As a youth, Sarault played in the 1985 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. Sébastien Ives Bordeleau (born February 15, 1975) is a Canadian-born French former professional ice hockey forward, who played in the National Hockey League. His father is former NHL player Paulin Bordeleau. Playing career Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, while his father Paulin played for the Canucks, he spent several years growing up in France while his father played pro hockey there. As a youth, he played in the 1987 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with team from France, and in the 1989 tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Lanaudière. Ivo Rüthemann
Ivo Rüthemann (born December 12, 1976) is a former Swiss professional ice hockey winger. Playing career His career started with SC Rheintal. He transferred to HC Davos of the National League A (NLA) in 1994, where he played until 1999, when he opted to sign with fellow NLA side SC Bern. He remained with the club for the remainder of his career, winning Swiss championships in 2004, 2010 and 2013 as well as the 2000 Spengler Cup. He received NLA MVP honors in 2003-04 and 2009-10. Christian Dubé (ice Hockey)
Christian Dubé (born April 25, 1977) is a Canadian/ Swiss ice hockey executive and former professional right winger. He is currently the sports director of HC Fribourg-Gottéron in the Swiss National League A. Biography Dubé was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec. He is the son of former pro hockey player Norm Dubé. As a youth, Dubé played in the 1990 and 1991 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with a minor ice hockey team from Sherbrooke. Jan Alston
Jan Alston (born April 14, 1969) is a Canadian- Swiss ice hockey executive, coach and former professional ice hockey centre. He was granted Swiss citizenship in 2002. He became sport director at Swiss side Lausanne HC in 2011. Playing career A native of Granby, Alston skated at the QMAAA and QMJHL level in his home province of Quebec and then spent his entire pro career in Europe, suiting up in Italy, Germany and Switzerland. He launched his professional career in Italy in 1990 at third-division side Eppan. Jukka Mika Petteri Hentunen (born May 3, 1974) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey forward, who last played with KalPa of the SM-liiga in the 2012–13 season. Playing career Hentunen played with HPK of the SM-liiga when he was drafted by the Calgary Flames as their sixth-round pick, 176th overall, in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. Oleg Viktorovich Petrov (''Олег Викторович Петров''; born April 18, 1971) is a Russian former ice hockey right winger. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) between 1992 and 2003. Professional career Petrov was drafted 127th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft and became the first Russian to play for the team. He played in 382 career NHL games, scoring 72 goals and 115 assists for 187 points. The most goals he ever scored in a single season in the NHL was 24 and the most points he ever achieved was 47. Timo Petteri Nummelin (born November 25, 1972) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League for the Minnesota Wild and Columbus Blue Jackets.
