The 2003 Tatra Mountains avalanche was an avalanche that occurred on 28 January 2003, sweeping away nine out of a thirteen-member group heading to the summit of Rysy in the Tatra Mountains. The participants of the trip were students from the in Tychy and individuals associated with the school's sports club ''Pion''. On 28 October 2010, the film ' premiered, based on the events of 2003.
