Mark Marquess
Mark Edward Marquess (born March 24, 1947) is an American college baseball coach. He served as the head coach of the Stanford Cardinal baseball team from 1977 to 2017. Early life and professional baseball career Born and raised in Stockton, California, Marquess graduated from Stagg High School (Stockton, California), Stagg High School in Stockton in 1965, then attended Stanford University from 1965 to 1969, where he played on the Stanford Cardinal baseball team at first base from 1967 to 1969 and Stanford Cardinal football, football team from 1966 to 1968 at quarterback, split end, defensive back, and punt returner. At Stanford, Marquess was a member of Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity. Chris Carter (outfielder)
William Christopher Carter (born September 16, 1982), nicknamed "Animal", is an American former Major League Baseball outfielder who played for the Boston Red Sox and New York Mets between 2008 and 2010. He also played for the Saitama Seibu Lions of Nippon Professional Baseball. Career High school Carter attended De La Salle High School in Concord, California, and graduated in 2001. He hit for a batting average of .571 and led the league in home runs as a senior, and was named his team's MVP. He also was named a 2001 Preseason First Team All-American by Baseball America and Bay Valley Athletic League MVP in 2001. Bailey–Brayton Field is a college baseball stadium in the northwest United States, on the campus of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Packard Stadium was a college baseball park in the southwestern United States, located in Tempe, Arizona, a suburb just east of Phoenix.
